After one year of development and dozens of prototypes we are thrilled to present our project: the bullet ant — a double-sided bolt action multitool pen! 

We call it the bullet ant pen because it has the same feelings as bullet ants, small, powerful and aggressive.

It’s made of high quality GR5 titanium, CNC machined. This remarkable material combines the highest durability with exceptional light weight. Based on the bolt action mechanism, we upgraded it into 2 directions, in this way, we could combine the function of pen and screwdriver together. It will also work well as box opener, self-defense tool, window breaker or fidget toy.

Minimal carry has been very important for everyone’s life. Based on this concept, we wanted to design a minimal pen that’s sleek and pocket friendly, what’s more, we also want to make it affordable. By incorporating the highest quality materials with subtle design elements, the bullet ant is the essential EDC pen for any occasion.

Below is the sketch we made when the first idea was born. It follows our design spirit: minimalist design and high-quality materials for an affordable price.

Built-in storage for 2 bits

The bullet ant pen has a built-in storage for 2 bits.  As everyone has different needs when it comes to daily tasks. So, being able to store 2 bits allows you to quickly customize it to your needs.

2-Sided Bolt Action Mechanis

Fidget Toy

For all the fidgeters out there, bolt action also gives you a new way to play with your pen, unlocking your imagination with a fun and simple tactile release.

Versatile Tool

A normal tactical pen has only one single “S” bolt action structure. Based on this idea, we redesigned this structure and make it 2 directions. In this way, we coulld conbine the function of a pen and a screwdriver together. It not only adds the convenience when using, but also make the whole process playful.

Anti-slip grip

The special thread pattern offers optimal grip. You can use it in any kinds of situation. Whether it is in dry, icy, wet or oil conditions, even with heavy gloves on, you can use it normally.

Removeable Clip

The clip is removable. It makes this pen a perfect EDC item. But when you don’t need it, you can take it off in just 3 seconds.

All metal construction, no glue, no plastic

We apply high-grade titanium materials from the body to the core. The superb materials are well known for the extremely high durability and exceptional light weight, making the bullet ant is a truly sustainable pen. All parts are precision-machined and designed to be form-fit in order to avoid the using of glue.

The bullet ant is a truly a tough pen. It is guaranteed to make it through the toughest conditions, and we’ve dropped it hundreds of times to prove it’s durability.

Pen

We designed the bullet ant pen to have a perfect balance in your hand. So your writing will always be in maximum comfort. 

Underwater writing

This pen is made of Gr5 titanium. It is light-weighted, solid, heat-resistant, anti-corrosion. Therefore this pen can be used in the toughest condition. We’ve given our sample product the beating to prove it. It is definitely your best choice to use outdoor.

Screwdriver

It is also a precision screwdriver capable of repairing common consumer electronics and household items.

Self-defense 

In case of emergency, you can also use it as a self-defense tool.

Box Opener

A ”ready to go” item works well as a box opener.

Window breaker

In case of emergency, you can also use it to break glass.

PS: the bits and refill in the package is of the best quality in the market to ensure it works well even in the toughest conditions.

To make it a perfect gift for yourself, for your family or friends, we also provide custom engraving, we could have it engraved on your pen or the carrying pouch, or both. It depends on you.

LAMY Refills

The one comes with the pen is a LAMY M22 F Refills (ink: black). For backers who want blue one, or who wants more than one refill, we also provide add-on option for refills.

The product is currently in mass production and is expected to ship in late January/ early February 2023. However, if we were unable to go as planned, we will also be a good communicator to keep you all updated.
