We wanted to change the mechanical appearance of air purifiers. To overcome this artificiality, we studied the opposite: designs that look natural and focus on the essence of what the product does.

Since air purifiers tend to stay in one place, they should blend into their surroundings.

Nature is the world’s air purifier, so natural, Scandinavian design was our biggest inspiration.

In 2018, we started collecting images and words from our two sources (nature and Scandinavian design) to sketch our plans.

Luckily, we met a young design team in Denmark, and our global project was born.

Finally, we hit upon the perfect design that combines our nature-inspired shape with the Scandinavian style…

…and we named it Löv.

To analyze how consumers use air purifiers in their real life and which functions they need the most, we visited numerous furniture and interior design showrooms, exhibitions, and consumers’ houses.

So, we thought it would be great if an air purifier could be adjusted to suit different spaces and situations while, of course, maintaining its beauty as well.

With a one-touch cradle dis/assembly, you can change your Löv to be positioned any way you want.

Whether you change your furniture, room, house—or even just your mood—Löv is there to match your needs.

This problem is not yours alone. That’s why we made Löv: to bring freedom to your precious space.

“Slim” means something more special.

Löv helps you to save space for things that are valuable to you, like another plant in your small apartment or maybe some more toys in the children’s room.

We rearranged the inlet, fan, and outlet to enable the slim profile. Then, we patented Löv technology, which combines high performance with a narrow profile. 

To develop this innovative FAN blade, we went through countless CFD [Computational Fluid Dynamics], including Flow simulations of Solidworks and ANSYS Fluent program, to make it withstand the pressure of the filter within the set width and noise limit.

The Central Air Guide, which also got a patent, reduces the pressure drop of the airflow coming out from several fans, which provides soft and wide air and eventually cuts the noise as well. By making samples with a 3D printer and CNC machine and testing them, we determined the optimal structure for the air guide.

This compact body shoots out about 25 single cubic meter boxes of clean air in just 10 minutes.

We removed all the distracting functions, so we can focus more on the things that matter most.

Fine dust concentration is displayed in both numbers and 4 different levels of colors. This Auto Mode helps you to check how well the air purifier is working without needing an extra device.

When the device is used horizontally, the display changes to be horizontal as well.

According to the graph above, Löv’s laser dust sensor produces exactly the same air measurement value as other professional dust measuring devices. These devices are normally more than $100, making Löv both beautiful and economical.

Komma is the same word as “Comma” in Nordic countries. Our aim is to change home appliance paradigms by creating a beautiful Interior object that is both functional and beautiful. We pursue global cooperation to reach our goal. With a young design team in Denmark and partners from top-notch Korean electronics corporations, such as Samsung and LG, we obtained high technology and design standards.

About Covid-19 
Our manufactures are mostly in Korea, and they are operating well these days. Also, supply chain formation from abroad and factory inspection are all prepared and finished. Therefore, there is a low risk of delay because of Coronavirus and quarantine. 

Production 
We are finally ready to get down to making molds after constant tests of numerous prototypes to make the perfect fan and blade. Still, we are aware of the risks involved in such projects. Therefore, we minimized the risks as much as we could by preparing all the modules and finishing the quality control before the campaign. 

Remote Control Batteries 
According to the shipping option, a few countries might not receive the remote control battery, R2025 3V coin battery (about 1 dollar/count in Amazon. We will definitely inform you in this case.
