On New Year’s Eve, a faculty party for teachers, still reeling from the suicide of a bullied student, goes horribly wrong when an unexpected guest arrives with an unusual request: participate in a scavenger hunt or die!  Accompanied by a diligent reporter and a girl bent on discovering the truth about her friend’s death, the party-goers race to unearth secrets about their mysterious tormentor before the first firework explodes, and the New Year begins with a bloody surprise!

Originally born from our experiences in school (and those of so many young outcasts), the idea for “Time’s Up” has been building for a while and now it’s time has arrived, thanks to a squadron of indie film warriors with both the talent and relentless passion to see this movie made… and you.

film. Not a product made for a quick buck, or a movie made for the sake of doing one, but
something that will have a life and find its way into the hearts and minds of slasher
fans. Something folks will want to talk about, re-watch, own, and share with others. A legacy that we, as lovers of the genre, and as filmmakers, would want to see and
be part of.

Our funding isn’t for stocking the craft table.  Every cent has a predetermined home waiting for it. The funds we raise here will go toward physical production, taking us through completion of principal photography. We hope this allows you to support us with the spirit, knowledge, and conviction that we will deliver a movie that will be fun and challenging to horror fans and movie lovers. Our number one goal is to give you something you’ll want to look at again and again and be proud to show your friends as something you helped accomplish!

Our crew are no strangers to micro-budgets and, with this approach, we maintain the creative control needed to bring this story to the screen, with our eyes focused on quality – without compromising our ambitious vision. We’re using all of our resources to get this done, with wonderful locations provided to us throughout Portland, Maine, utilizing our own money combined with this campaign.

We’re running a clean, transparent campaign, free of politics and the grime that often goes with making a movie. We arrived at our funding goal here only after our own funds finally ran out, and we had exhausted and locked in every resource we could muster. While the double whammy of using our own money and still going the crowdfunding route is enough to send most filmmakers into spasms, it’s a testament to our relentless passion and confidence in the piece.

We hope this allows you to support us with the spirit, knowledge, and conviction that we
will deliver a movie that will carve out its own place in the hallowed halls of the our
beloved genre. We know you are tired of movie makers who seem apologetic about
making horror movies; we are just as proud of being horror fans as you are, which is
why we want to make the potential classic with you.

Making movies is tough stuff. Each movie project we have worked on, regardless of budget, has presented unique challenges, but hold one thing in common: the collaborative spirit of the team.
