A unique, direct-pay primary care clinic and health care center for Northern Nevada.
We want to provide independent health care for the Carson Valley that respects your participation in the healing process.
Instead of trying to work within a broken, bloated medical system, we want to provide a local solution that will meet your needs and those of your family. Many people utilize urgent care and the emergency room as their primary medical care. These facilities have great resources but they shouldn’t be doing the work of your family physician. We believe that healthy communities start with a vibrant mindset, and everyone should have access to medical care that is empowering and supportive.
By cutting out insurance, doctors can spend more time with their patients and less time writing notes to satisfy complicated billing algorithms. Health care can be personalized and costs can be transparent when we simplify the way we do business. We are establishing a new clinic that will offer you care from a well-trained family physician combined with educational tools and community connections so you can reach your optimal health. Nutrition, fitness, and mindset classes as well as health support groups will be offered to help community members bring their health to the next level.
Hi, my name is Squire Hepworth. I didn’t come from a wealthy family growing up, but I did come from a caring one. I saw my dad routinely pull over to help people whose cars were broken down on the side of the road. He used his mechanic skills and the tools he kept with him to help them get back on their way. I decided to become a physician so I could support people in getting their health back on track. In the hospital where I currently work, I see a lot of patients who might not have needed to come to the hospital at all if they had proper primary care. I also worry about the bills they get sent home with on account of their hospital stay. I am ready to apply the knowledge and insight I gained from studying Nutritional Science for my undergraduate degree. I’m committed to help people find solutions for their health that don’t require a life-long dependence on prescription drugs. The expense of modern medicine is something that, frankly, I’m embarrassed about. Oftentimes the “latest and greatest” drug is prescribed instead of a generic that could serve the purpose just as well and at fraction of the cost. Good medicine shouldn’t be a financial burden.
Hi, I’m Jami Hepworth. I grew up in Northern Nevada and graduated from Galena High school. I love this area and am so grateful to be back by my family and the gorgeous mountain views. I am a life coach. A life coach helps expand a person’s view of what is possible and to have greater success in reaching goals. I am also a certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis instructor. It was through my experience with Hypnobabies that I experienced the power of the mind to create surprisingly comfortable and manageable childbirth experiences as a mother of my and Squire’s five children. I am a passionate advocate for liberty and responsibility. I embody these through homeschooling our children, caring for chickens and goats on our family homestead, and studying great ideas in great books. We need each other. I believe good medical care should take into account all of the aspects of our health. Revolutionary Health will facilitate educational opportunities to strengthen relationships–with yourself, your loved ones and your neighbors.
This is a photo of our family at Dr. Hepworth’s graduation from his family medicine residency in Pocatello, Idaho. It has been a dream of ours to combine our efforts to serve our community in a health capacity for many years. Recently, when Squire was driving home from his work day at the hospital, this building caught his eye.
“I think this could be a great clinic.”
This building CAN be a great clinic! This building that was once utilized as bank, and a funeral home can be resurrected (so to speak) and be made into a clinic and educational space that can fulfill the vision we have for Revolutionary Health. It is estimated that this project will cost a little over $1 Million, which includes the price of the building, the renovations, and the needed medical equipment to get set up.
Will you partner with us to make our vision a reality for our community?
We envision a primary care clinic with a small-town doctor feel conveniently located right in the heart of Gardnerville, Nevada. Members of Revolutionary Health will be able schedule an appointment with Dr. Hepworth and be seen within a day–or get a timely response through other communication channels for their health-related question. Because we will be built on a membership model, Dr. Hepworth will be able to give you his full attention for 30-45 minute appointments. We will provide on-site child care making attending appointments a breeze for families with young children. There is a covered drive thru arm which lends a perfect set-up for patrons to pick up their prescriptions, including nutritional supplements, as they leave the parking lot.
For a discounted rate for Revolutionary Health members, we will also offer fitness classes, health-related lectures, mindset coaching, support groups for community members striving for similar health goals, and more. We envision local health-related business owners coming to share their wisdom on healthy living with the community. We envision Revolutionary Health bringing greater quality of life and connection to Gardnerville and the surrounding areas.
Our clinic with its unique approach to conventional and holistic medicine will save people a lot of money, time, and energy all while delivering higher value and support. We see locals overcoming limiting beliefs and making and achieving big goals with their newfound health–including expanding the quality and length of life they can share with their loved ones! We see Revolutionary Health enriching the lives of thousands of individuals and families in the Carson Valley area.
We further have hope that this vision will catch on in other areas and that this model will be replicated and implemented throughout the country as a means of delivering honest, transparent, connected, and affordable health care to all Americans. By accomplishing this in Gardnerville together, we can share our model and the message that it is possible for any town to support their local physician and other health care professionals to create opportunities like this one for spreading good health unencumbered by the constraints of the bloated corporate medical machine.
We need your financial support. Here’s how we plan to do that.
The amount of money this campaign receives will determine how the money is spent.
The first $150,000 will go towards the down payment for the loan to purchase the property.
The next $285,000 will got towards equipment, and 6 months of operating costs for the business.
Additional funds after our goal of $435,000 is reached will go towards the purchase of the building and the tenant improvements in order to save on loan costs.
If this campaign makes over $1,500,000.00 the doors of the clinic can open in closer to 4 months time instead of 7 months time as we can skip the bank lending and time involved in processing through a lender altogether. Our contractor estimates he can get building plans approved in 4-6 weeks, and he can complete the project in 1-2 months after that.
If the campaign makes $1,600,000, we can move a second doctor and his family to the area to provide more care. (We have a specific one in mind!) Rather than serving 800 individuals, we can double the number to 1,600.
If the campaign makes significantly more than this, a revision to the remodeling plan would be in order. We would add a second story so that we could include a permanent gym for members. We would include more rooms for other health care professionals to rent in order to serve more Revolutionary Health members even better in one space. (Chiropractic, acupuncture, practitioner, nutritionists, personal trainers, etc.)
As a means of raising funds for Revolutionary Health, we are offering a limited number of year-long memberships that will go in to effect as soon as the clinic opens its doors. We estimate that we will be able open October 2021.

- A model that doesn’t depend on exorbitant fees, insurance manipulation of care, and that cuts out the overreach of government in health care.
- Hope that the the small town family doctor can practice honest unencumbered medicine for their communities once again.
Risks & Challenges
Our biggest challenge is funding. In order to start this business, we need approximately $435,000. This covers 15% down on a loan to purchase and remodel the building, equipment costs, as well as 6 months of operating expenses.
The second challenge will be to garner the trust of the community in order to keep our doors open with sufficient enrollment. As the clinic grows, we plan to hire additional healthcare providers and other staff to be able to continue to provide excellent care for our members. We have already made connections with other local health care providers who are supportive of our effort to open this clinic and they want to partner with us on projects that will benefit the community and plan to share our establishment with their contacts. We plan to utilize facebook ads and other marketing strategies to grow our business. We are confident once the doors are open, things will move quickly by word of mouth.
One of the risks with this business is that people get so healthy that they won’t need to come back to the doctor or require our services any longer! We are confident we can overcome this through the vibrant class offerings that give continued health support and community connection.
