How different is Teddy’s Friends compared to Sesame Street and Mr. Rodgers?
Jason: While both programs are so wonderful and great, and I grew up watching them, their target market is 3 to 5. Our target market is 8 to 12 years of age. Which is an under-utilized market. Eight can be a challenging age and it is important to get kids these life lessons before they are teenagers and going through puberty. It would be great to have all the tools available to deal with what comes with this challenging, and potentially awkward, phase of life.
Teddy: Dude seriously… Mr. Rogers was my hero and I think our world needs more of that right now… seriously dude. He passed the torch to me. Let’s do this! Booya!
IS THERE MORE THAN JUST ONE CHARACTER?
Jason: Yes, Episode 1 Season 1 has 4 characters; Teddy, TJ, Gloria Bun Bun and Frankenscary. Each episode introduces a new character/monster that becomes part of Teddy’s Club.
Teddy: This animated entertainment series, starring yours truly, will give little monsters the tools they need to tackle real-life situations like anger, racism, fear, acceptance, and many other topics that might be hard for some to address. All while having a blast with me and my friends as we travel the globe helping monsters from everywhere! We meet a new friend / monster in every episode.
WHEN WILL THE EPISODES BE AVAILABLE?
Jason: As soon as they are funded…
It takes about three months to complete an animation from start to finish, and our initial goal of this crowdfunding campaign is to take this idea and bring it to life. Teddy is gaining steam and we can’t wait to get everyone involved in this very special project.
Teddy: If you want to help transform the “little monsters” in all of us then do what Mother Theresa used to say; “Seriously dude … Break out your check books, break out your pens and start writing checks.” Booya!!

HOW DO YOU ENVISION KIDS WILL ACCESS THIS SERIES?
Jason: Initially we primarily will be on YouTube and YouTube Kids. We will be open to white label in the future with the right partner such as Cartoon Network, PBS, Nickelodeon and Netflix.
Teddy: Wherever there is a TV screen. The wider and larger the screen the better.
