Is there something you’re not doing you would be great at?
How do you know there isn’t a path better suited for you?
We can help you find the answers. How? With N-LITE, our platform for talent identification and human performance optimization.
Summary
The concept began in 1998 with our CIO’s study and work at Indiana University and Michigan State University at the National Sports Institute. Fast forward 23 years! Now we have a patent-pending predictive analytics talent identification algorithm that has been researched, tested, and refined. Our algorithm has identified Olympic Gold medalists, elite military personnel, professional athletes, and youth soccer state champions. We no longer want to keep our advanced talent identification tool hidden from the public, and have put together a team of dedicated professionals to make it available to everyone! We believe this technology, in the hands of athletes across America, will have the ability to bring out the absolute best version of everyone who uses it!
Our initial launch of N-LITE will be in the sports industry, but our algorithm can be effective where any individual desires to improve their skills. This will deliver results for any organization that wants to identify talent and maximize their potential.
There are two initial primary objectives we want to achieve with the use of our software tool.
1. Identify talent using predictive analytics and artificial intelligence and promote equal opportunity to athletes regardless of socioeconomic status.
Our Vision is to deliver the app for a nominal cost for users, and FREE to all Coaches within the United States. The assessments and analyses collected over time will diminish the reliance on extensive travel to expensive college showcases and professional combines to get noticed or to identify talent. Now like never before, N-LITE will ensure that athletes who would have never been noticed before, never slip through the cracks again.
2. Increase the talent pool by helping athletes reach their next level of performance.
Individual variables play different roles in human performance. When accounted for, these variables can be determining factors for future capabilities, assessments, or guidelines for the development and duration of training required for an individual. Applying our tool on scale will increase the sheer number of talented athletes identified exponentially.
The Problem
On a national level, there is no system in place to properly assess individuals and identify talent efficiently and consistently. When a system lacks a way to measure on scale regularly, we lose a massive amount of opportunity to develop unidentified real talent. With no assessments, we lose the ability to identify areas in need of improvement. Furthermore, without a platform in place at a low cost to the everyday person, we limit the opportunity of players to be recognized and decrease our chances to make it to the next level. Unfortunately, for some sports, if you cannot afford at least three thousand dollars ($3000) you will not get assessed by a scout at a large event.
The Solution
Don’t fall through the cracks, be assessed with N-LITE
- Every event is our event
- We are open-sourcing talent identification
N-LITE is an assessment tool coaches, parents, and players can use to collect data or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) customized to their sport and organization. Each team and club can define the KPIs they feel are relevant to providing them insights. These KPIs and evaluations will funnel into our patent-pending Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithm. We are very excited about the flexibility our tool has for everyone! The algorithm was developed to continuously increase the accuracy of our predictive outputs with the greater number of variations of these assessments and the more longitudinal research we do. This is where the magic will happen, our DARPA and NASA advisor, research team, and National Soccer Hall of Fame inductee will develop roadmaps to help athletes make better decisions, including how to increase their chances of being recruited. We are ahead of any competitor with our Talent Identification Human Performance Optimization methodology to measure attributes in the following areas:
- Psychological
- Physiological
- Proprioceptive
Who is N-LITE for today?
- Parents and athletes who want to reach the next level and become the best that they can be. The data collected and player profiles can be made private, shared on an individual basis, or they can be shared with all coaches, colleges, scouts, and organizations. N-LITE will help parents find the activity or sport for their children (not just soccer) will excel at the most, therefore, will be the happiest playing. Plus we are giving athletes exposure and the opportunity to be seen by scouts at both the collegiate and professional level at a price point no competitor is even close to.
- Coaches and clubs who want to identify the best talent available for their teams. Coaches and clubs can search by specific criteria, and N-LITE will provide a new way to improve the recruitment process and provide a means to evaluate more talent. We are giving coaches a better chance of winning, and giving clubs the ability to identify the best talent available effectively and economically from a large pool of participants.
What do we need?
We have gone through several rounds of small pilot testing and have begun our first large-scale test.
We are in the early stages of development, and we plan to make N-LITE available to every player and coach in the United States. To enable us to balance our operating costs and make it free to coaches we need a large number of users. However, to get many users we need to finalize our software. Our projections show that we need $250,000 to complete the application requirements and provide the application free to coaches across the United States.
We have a visionary idea and a plan for achieving that vision. What we need is help financing the development of the software App and our start-up costs.

The N-LITE app will change the equation!
We were so fortunate that fate worked out in the favor of US Soccer when Eddie Pope, who almost didn’t become a soccer player, ended up becoming one of the Top 25 to ever step on the field. Imagine a world where the tough decisions and chance were supported with data-driven analysis on a grand scale. Could we have thousands or potentially millions more U. S. athletes highlight reels like this? We know the power of our application is built to provide these results!
Our Company
Pay it Forward Performance (“PIF”) was founded in 2020 bringing together a uniquely talented leadership team who are transforming the Sports Technology market to serve and ensure all athletes in the United States have an equal opportunity! This will result in increased performance, satisfaction, and results within professional sports organizations and colleges through the identification of talented athletes that best fit their specific needs. PIF is using a patent-pending algorithm and SaaS solution that will disrupt all competitive sports industries as we believe the data will uncover talent and provide them opportunities they would otherwise never have had.
Risks and Challenges
There are many challenges we face in deploying and further developing the application. A major hurdle for us to overcome is to educate the majority to increase the understanding of what predictive analytics is. Most companies say they are doing it, but the only thing they are doing is data analytics, and many are using set-in-stone variables because they don’t have the data scientists who understand how to calculate an ever-changing equation of new inputs. It’s difficult to communicate the complexity of an algorithm that is the secret sauce and is in the process of being patented without giving away the farm so to speak.
Another major challenge is the cost! At the end of the day, the cost of developing the engine behind the scenes of N-LITE and ongoing maintenance is going to be in the millions……..and we want to give it to coaches initially in the United States for FREE! Therefore, fundraising and venture capital are going to be ongoing. In order to overcome this, we have self-funded to stand up the application and deploy the trial version to our first client. We have also brought on team members and partners with a diverse amount of unique skill sets including but not limited to, National Soccer Hall of Fame inductee, DARPA and NASA advisor, former NFL agent, and business manager, high-level attorney, CFO who manages large investment opportunities, CEO who has built and sold three major companies to NYSE and Nasdaq organizations, Ph.D. software development team, and a relationship facilitator to identify and pull additional talent and resources on board when necessary.
We believe we have set up the team for success and have a committed board of executives focused on the vision of elevating youth and talent across America!
