This model comes in native mount for RF, L, E, Z mount camera systems, compatible with such full-frame cameras as Panasonic S1H, S5, RED Komodo, Canon R5, R6, C70, Sony FX3, Nikon Z6, Z7.

Being rather lightweight and compact, this lens is ideal for handheld work or use on a stabilizer and tripod.

Whether to shoot grand scenes or tight shots, the images you get with this lens will be of superior quality, high resolution, and good sharpness. Being a full-frame lens means it can shoot wider than its APS-C equivalents, leaving you plenty of room for pan-and-scan or punching in the post.

Unlike its APS-C equivalents, this lens boasts a higher 1.6x squeeze, which means it can include in the frame more vivid details by squeezing the image down 1.6x horizontally onto the sensor.

A few mainstream mirrorless cameras currently on the market support 6K 3:2 image mode when their sensors are fully utilized. For example, when shooting at 3:2 with Panasonic S1H in 6K at 24 FPS, you’ll get a 6K footage in a 2.4:1 aspect ratio.

When RED Komodo is set in 6K 3:2 imager mode with a 1.6x squeeze factor, you can easily produce a 2.4:1 aspect ratio in post. In addition, with the 1.6x squeeze factor included in ATOMOS and CVW monitors, you are allowed to see de-squeezed images directly on monitors.

When the sensor is set at 16:9, you’ll end up with a much wider 2.8:1 aspect ratio, the viewing experience delivered by it is as premium and immersive as the IMAX format.

As the third eye of shooters, 50mm focal length has an angle of view that is very close to human eyes. Featuring a 1.6x squeeze factor, this 50mm lens can deliver a horizontal angle of view we’d expect from a 31mm regular lens and the superorganic background blur, which help render your storytelling much more nuanced and engaging.
50mm full-frame anamorphic offers a wider field of view. It sees 61.4° horizontally as a 31mm would and 26.3° vertically as a 50mm would.

Pointing a light source directly into this lens to get that signature blue lens flares anamorphic lenses are known for, adding a sprinkle of magic to your image.

This lens, with a squeeze factor of 1.6x, produces oval bokeh in a more pleasing shape than those lenses with 1.33x squeeze, giving the footage extra expressiveness and aesthetics.

This lens consists of 16 elements in 13 groups. The optics are constructed of Schott glass with multi-layer nano-coating, which improves image quality while reducing unnecessary ghosting and flares.

When shooting wide open at T2.9 with the focus concentrating on the subject, you’ll get a shallow depth of field image with the subject in focus and other areas out of focus.

Using a wide aperture in low light conditions enables the camera to take in more light and achieves a faster shutter speed. Also, the aperture ring is engineered stepless to offer smooth iris control.
The aperture and focus rings are both geared for a nice resistance and easy installation of a follow-focus system. There are precision scale marks on both sides of the focus ring for quick adjustment.
