Sip Better is a national club dedicated to Better-for-You wine. Sip Better will soon open its flagship store in Minneapolis’ chic North Loop neighborhood. This IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign will support the store and expand our club’s wine platform. Rewards are a wine-lovers dream and will be fulfilled in time for the holiday season!

About Sip Better: Feel Good, Do Good and Drink Smart

Sip Better supports only family owned, small, international wine growers, who are committed to farming via sustainable, organic and biodynamic practices. All wines are void of additional sugars, added flavors, extracts, colorings or additives. 

Sip Better club members get better-for-you wine delivered to their doorstep, with curated selections from me (your personal sommelier!), paired with a robust digital wine platform.

I personally hand-select every bottle for individual club members, using Sip Better’s proprietary rating system combined with my knowledge of a wine’s scientific breakdown (acid, fruit, tannin, body, etc.). Each shipment is completely personalized to your preferences, and the best taste and right price are always guaranteed.  

Sip Better also encourages club members to tour the wine world. Elevate your tasting journey through educational videos, pairing suggestions, serving suggestions (temperature + cellar time) and more, using the Sip Better online wine platform.

Community Support for Better-for-All Wines

Sip Better is a robust, national community of health-conscious wine-lovers. We share one vision and want to maintain this vision within our community. As the founder, I want the community to remain active and supported – not to be directed by venture capitalists. 

I chose to fund Sip Better’s growth through its community instead of venture capital, so that Sip Better never has to put profits before people.

Through this campaign, IndieGoGo funds will help Sip Better:

1. Expand the club so that it can offer members more, such as exclusive and small batch wines ‘from the cellar’ to members only.
2. Offer a flagship location that is exclusively dedicated to Better wines, their farmers, communities and families. Think of it as a Better-for-All wines ONLY shop!
3. Expand and enhance its website, creating even more features for members.
4. Fund a delivery vehicle that will make local deliveries easy and cost-efficient.

Decades of Wine Experience & Commitment to Stewardship

With over 25 years of hospitality experience and 20+ years as a certified sommelier, I am immersed in the wine scene internationally, as I teach, write, and serves as spokesperson for wine education on a day-to-day basis.  

For years I observed my clients seeking better, healthier wine options. They wanted to drink well, explore their palates, and support the farmers and communities behind the labels. But they were perplexed by buzz words, frustrated at the lack of affordable and delicious wines, or disappointed by bulk-labeled wine clubs.  

So, I created Sip Better: Better for All Wine. Better for you, better for the planet, better for wine-growing communities.  Today, I own three companies dedicated to the wine industry Amusée, Sip Better, and my newest, Cépage. 

Throughout my career, I have worked to exclusively support family-owned international wineries that define ‘stewardship’ and have a promised commitment to their wine growing regions, families and communities.
