As an outdoor enthusiast with a long career in manufacturing steel products for the automotive industry, it has always been my dream to develop a proprietary product to make and sell. That desire was born from a 44-year career spent with Michigan and Ohio automotive supplier companies in operations, general management and various sales positions within the steel, Tool & Die, roll forming and metal stamping arenas. I wanted to focus totally on making and selling just one product of the highest quality, unique functionality, competitive pricing, best product in its class distinction and to as many customers as I could connect with. Fortunately, at the very tail end of my sales career, I was offered an incredible opportunity from a wonderful Swedish friend of mine: to find a manufacturing source to launch a new product in America. Well, the initial task request has morphed into a full time start up business in Michigan with an exclusive license agreement to manufacture, sell and introduce a patented Swedish Designed Fire Stove for the next level of the Ultimate Outdoor Fire Stove Experience and enjoyment to the US and Canadian marketplaces – The Fireigloo !

The Fireigloo Story

The Fireigloo fire stove is a reflection of Scandinavian heritage and precise craftsmanship. The first Fireigloo was created in 2018 by a specialist welder in the North of Sweden who wanted to make an outdoor fireplace for his backyard that protected the fire from the wind yet provided a lot of light and heat. The fireplace was made with repurposed stainless-steel plates that he found on a fish farm and tools in his workshop.

When the prototype was made, he placed it in the center of his seaside garden, filled it with firewood and invited some friends over for a beer or two.

His friends brought their families and despite the chilly evening, the night lasted longer than expected as stories and laughs were exchanged in the light of the fire.

Fireigloo was officially born….

We found an excellent Fabricator!  We carefully teamed up with an expert welding fabricator in industrial Western Michigan to manufacture the very best quality Stainless Steel fire stove from an intricate and globally patented design. A design which maximizes light and radiates heat with excellent wind/ash protection. Very easily transported by car, truck, boat, or RV. The bottom feet for each Fireigloo leg are made from 200-year-old Swedish tree stock, cured for waterproofing and floor surface protection: practical and a tribute to its Swedish roots!  

Family Members – Expertise

I engaged my family members as outside advisors in order to utilize their expertise and creative opinions. All are successful in their own careers that include, environmental issues, sustainability initiatives, health and workplace safety protocols, legalities and contracts, regulatory analysis, banking, economics, and a brother-in-law – machining. They have pledged their support for this endeavor. We are capable and motivated!

Launch Stage

We have approval from the entrepreneur in Sweden to build and sell Fireigloo Fire Stoves in the US and Canada. 

Our first limited production run of 200 units has begun.  200 more on order to cover sales from inventory. Ramping up production volumes as manufacturing process becomes finalized.

All steel material and components for the build are ordered or are on hand. US sourced.

The welding department has started in- process manufacturing and final assembly.

The beautiful Swedish Wooden Feet have arrived!

The first units ready for sale will be finished and packaged starting on 7/15/22.

The Fireigloo Experience   “Where Light and Friends Meet”

When you view a lit Fireigloo fire stove, you will feel like you are falling in love.  Completely, head over heels. In love.

I have observed friends and family connecting to the Fireigloo Experience on this visceral level amid the fire playing images and movements proffered by the dancing, burning, swirling, flames.

Neighbors will inquire…. Friends will visit and stay a bit longer.  Family gatherings are suddenly more fun and fulfilling.

It’s a totally different fire pit perspective than anything else currently on the market. 

Our Needs

While our startup company has many needs, we specifically ask for your support to raise money for a state-of-the-art machine that will allow us to make our product totally customizable to our customer’s aesthetic satisfaction. We will be able to simplify the build process in house and ultimately reduce costs and the selling price of the Fireigloos.

Logistics and supply chain delays and costs remain in flux and need protection by buying steel material well in advance of production to ensure timely delivery for making and shipping our product to our customers. Steel prices are spiky at best and available quantities of specialty steel products has been negatively impacted by global health concerns and other world events. Projected advertising costs and shipping costs need to be supported as well, so that our product can get out there for the consumers to see. We have to protect orders and shipments by maintaining ample finished inventory. “This is going to require a load of bread”. (Dan Ackroyd, Ghostbusters) We need funding support to make this dream a reality!

The Good – Three Pillars of Sustainability

As a company, we believe in the preserving our planet’s environment for future inhabitants. We believe in caring for and replacing things we use up in the course of our lives for the benefit of those who follow. We believe that everyone is born equal and should be treated as such and all need to be granted more than just the basic human right to food and water. 

Our company will altruistically support the schools we graduated from with alumni programs, partner with responsible suppliers and organizations by supporting the re-planting of forests and maintaining the cleanliness of our waterways. More to follow.
