The Story Behind The Backyard Banger

Honestly, what’s a better American pastime than a good ol’ fashion backyard BBQ with family and friends? 

Recently while helping a friend look into building an outdoor kitchen we discovered that the average cost is $12k-15k. In addition, many people can’t qualify for permits, ventilation, or HOA approval. We started to look around online for any solution, but we found absolutely nothing that fit our basic needs at a reasonable price. So we got to work.

First we constructed a countertop with a drop sink that drained into a bucket. Instantly it became the hub of every gathering we had and was constantly requested around the neighborhood for outdoor setups.  We soon improved it by adding electrical outlets, a fridge, and an umbrella completing the world’s first Backyard Banger!

At this moment we knew one Banger was just simply not enough Banger for the world. What we found out is that approximately 100 million homes in the U.S. have a grill, but only 1 to 2 million are fortunate enough to have an outdoor kitchen. So our founder Ty Aloe, who was recently awarded the coveted CES Innovation Award as a product designer, set out to fill this 98 million homestead gap by putting the Banger into full manufacturing production.

With over two years of personal use, and another year of R&D before manufacturing, the Banger team is extremely excited to bring the most anticipated home product of 2023 to your BACKYARD!

How Do I Pay for Shipping? 

Shipping costs are not included in the perk price and will be charged after the campaign ends and prior to delivery. 

How Much Will Shipping Cost?

The shipping costs vary from state-to-state, and are subject to change based on time of delivery. Our product packaged is optimized for logistical efficiency to keep the costs as low as possible. The avg. shipping cost for the Backyard Banger throughout the US is $350. If at the time of delivery the shipping costs are higher than you anticipated – have no worry, we will allow you to rescind your full pledge because we have eager customers waiting!

Furthermore – We promise to hold your discounted rate for a year if circumstances change!

Return Policy

Products that are damaged during shipping or that have functional manufacturing defects will be accepted for replacement within the first 30 days of confirmed delivery.

Risks and Challenges

We have worked extremely hard to ready this product for Indiegogo and full-scale manufacturing and fulfillment, but here are what we see as the risks and our plan to assess them:

MANUFACTURING: Our manufacturer and suppliers are lined up, and we have quality assurance teams on site during production. Our immediate team members have been involved in manufacturing for over a decade manufacturing hundreds of products.

FULFILLMENT: It’s no secret that supply chains are a mess right now.  We are using an experienced logistics team to get your Banger to you. We are fortunate enough to be familiar with importing and exporting but we cant control the ports. We will keep frequent communication with you through out the process so you know where your product is and when it’s going to get to you.
