Offering founder opportunities to help finance our new offsite tasting room
Land Crafted. Ocean Aged.
Buddies Jeff Robinette and Alan Davis channeled their love of great whiskey into crafting Chambers Bay Distillery’s first batch in 2014. Drawing inspiration from Puget Sound, their mission is to create uniquely extraordinary spirits. The long-term goal is to make the best whiskey in the world.’
Operating out of a small space for the last eight years, CBD is now in the process of building out a new flagship tasting room. With plans to open in 2023, the 1,570 square-foot space across from University Place Town Center will feature an upscale/casual mixed-seating environment where patrons will be able to enjoy craft cocktails, light food, and bottles for sale. We plan for this to be the go-to space to grab a drink and a bite in University Place.
Not only will the new Chambers Bay Tasting Room at Town Center (CBTC) be our flagship retail location, the revenues generated by this cocktail bar & bottle shop will help fund our much-needed distillery expansion.
Architectural Plans
In order to help us build out the new tasting room, we are looking for founder donations at three different levels. Slots are limited. Founders will receive lifetime ongoing benefits, and hopefully become an integral part of what we are building. If you don’t care to be a founding member, but would still like to support our project, we welcome donations of any size.

Risks & Challenges
Because we are building out an unfinished grey-shell space, there is uncertainty about the final cost and timing of this project, but if we can get the support to fill up all three tiers of our limited Founders’ Club memberships, that should get us halfway to the finish line, with the rest funded by us. And though our goal is showing as $75,000 (we want to make sure we can at least hit this minimum mark), we’re really hoping to exceed this amount twofold by selling out all of our offered memberships. As of December 1st, 2022, we have signed a lease and are in the architectural planning phase.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you don’t choose to donate at a founder level, you can make a contribution of any amount – all contributions will be much appreciated (click “See Options”). If you can’t contribute but would like to help, please spread the word that we are building a new tasting room and offering founder opportunities. Thank You!
