Two-way resistance | Full-body workouts | Eight configurations | Exercises in a league of their own
Flyweight is a transformer; its eight configurations replace different cardio machines and other pieces of conditioning equipment.
Flyweight pieces lock, unlock and rotate to give you full acceleration without the limitations of dumbbells, kettlebells, the medicine ball, and battle ropes. The configurable weight distribution of Flyweight and edge-to-edge grip allows you to accelerate out and away from your midline, actively brake, and then accelerate back on every rep instead of passively riding back the weight like on a kettlebell swing.
Flyweight allows for two-way acceleration in a sustained explosive rhythm that spikes the heart rate, replacing the need for bulky and expensive cardio machines — and outperforming them. Flyweight is a hybrid of cardio and resistance training for major league conditioning.
With Flyweight, the increase in Force comes from Acceleration. Industry standard fitness equipment has led us to think that the only way to increase resistance is by increasing weight. But an increase in weight results in a decrease in acceleration. And Force = Mass x Acceleration. Flyweight produces maximum force by allowing for a full range of active acceleration, instead of an increase in mass at the cost of acceleration.
Like a baseball, golf, or tennis swing, boxing and sprinting— more force is generated through more acceleration, not by adding weight. Flyweight delivers up to 130lbs of Resistance.
*Based on lab-testing of predecessor product at a weight of 10lbs.
Active acceleration and braking on both sides of the movement is what makes Flyweight’s two-way resistance unique. With every rep, you work both sides of the moment with perfect symmetry. Acceleration prioritizes one set of muscle groups. Braking, yet another. And when you accelerate on the reverse side, you prioritize yet another.
Unlike row and ski machines, which pull you back to the start position, Flyweight’s two-way resistance accelerates antagonistic muscle groups on every rep with perfect symmetry.
Configure Flyweight into different cardio machine setups so you can row, ski, and slam all with one device.
F1 replaces the row machine and gives you a more functional vertical row instead of a seated horizontal row. It’s also configured for windshield wipers, a powerhouse full-body movement that hammers the core.
F2 replaces the Ski Machine to give you a more powerful ski. Actively accelerate back to the top, overhead position.
F3 is the next generation of medicine ball. Slam down and thrust back up for an ultra metabolic slam.
F4 is configured for rotational swings with a wider, more ergonomic two-handed grip.
F5 is configured for powerful pushing and pulling movements with a neutral grip that allows for maximum handling and acceleration.
F6 is configured for chopping and sledgehammer movements in different paths for full-body movements that light up your core. Scale up in difficulty to F7.
F7 is configured for chopping and sledgehammer movements in different paths for full-body movements that light up your core. Scale down in difficulty to F6.
F8 is configured for powerful swings and rotational movements.

Flyweight is brought to you by Atlantic Fitness Equipment, LLC. The fitness brand on a mission to provide game-changing equipment through high-quality design and engineering.
Flyweight wasn’t born from one single lightbulb moment. That’s not what this is.
Flyweight is the result of a process. I realized that my training had to become more strategic to continue to reach higher levels of my goals. Various sports led to various injuries and each time, I learned more about what was most effective for my goals.
I eventually realized the huge benefits of making every day conditioning day. But cardio machines were never the answer for me. And, for me, it wasn’t about lifting maximum weight.
And so, I started with the idea of xChain: a configurable weight, designed for maximum acceleration, for use in conditioning intervals without putting it down.
After receiving domestic and international utility patents on xchain and testing it with various athletes and industry leaders in the fitness space to collect feedback, I developed Flyweight as the next generation.
Our team is small, but our manufacturing capabilities are substantial. Our team brings decades of manufacturing experience and deep manufacturing relationships. I wanted to make sure that Flyweight was developed in its highest-quality form, and that’s exactly what we’ve done.
After two years of engineering, design and extensive field testing, Flyweight is now available to you. Let’s make every day conditioning day.
Flyweight is a different approach to what is generally accepted, and we believe Flyweight will massively disrupt the cardio machine industry. Launching on Indiegogo enables us to build our community.
