SHORT SUMMARY:

Two guys walked into a bar… well actually into a Hollywood Hills Mansion party. Sam met Mike, then both learned that they had Boston roots and they hit it off.

Turned out Mike is of the LEGENDARY MIT Card Counting team fame, based on whose adventures the movie 21 was made. He was also a Black Jack World Champion and a man BANNED  from all the casinos in the world. Mike shared many fascinating and untold stories about Advantage Players (folks who regularly beat the house) and Sam knew there was something special that needed to be shared with the world. He brought in his friend Hrag, a talented director. All three decided to produce this exciting project.

Before they knew it, a fast-paced, expert-filled documentary was born.

ADVANTAGES:

COMMITMENT – Producers put up their OWN money to substantially DERISK the project

SPEED – we move QUICKLY. In the 8 months since start, we are 70% done with filming and with proper funding, we can have a rough draft by DECEMBER of 2023.

QUALITY – we assembled an all-star TEAM of video and audio professionals, shooting in 6K. This is already turning out to be visually STUNNING documentary – very high production value.

EXPERTS – we attracted the TOP and FOREMOST experts in gambling, AP, sports & gaming space in our film. This work will be authoritative.

TOPIC – edgy genre, attractive topic, international cast, world-wide interest.

RISKS & CHALLENGES:

TIMING – if production stretches too long, some of the film magic can be lost. RAPID completion ensures we get into FESTIVALS, and get a good look by MAJOR STREAMERS. That’s why we want to move quickly

FUNDING – without proper funding, the project will (STILL GET DONE! yet) get DELAYED. See “TIMING” above. Also, we may have to compromise on the desired TALENT we seek for our film, with less impressive folks.

HOLLYWOOD STRIKE – while we absolutely feel for the livelihoods of people who have been affected by the strike, in a twisted way, our INDEPENDENT production has been a beneficiary of the situation. We are able to attract top non-union TALENT, rent the best STUDIO space, and present our content in a most favorable timeframe and fashion.

WHAT WE NEED:

We need a BOOST to quickly cross the finish line. The funds will be used as following:

20K – Final Filming

30K – Post production, Editing, Animation

15K – Marketing, Festival Submissions

If we had all the funds NOW, we could FINISH filming by NOVEMBER 2023, and have a ROUGH CUT by DECEMBER of THIS year!! This should tell you how quickly we are able to move.

WHAT YOU GET
