Located on 10-acres of forested land, Menizei offers only three basecamps, providing you and your partner complete solitude and privacy. Each basecamp offers ocean views, overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Based in Port Angeles, WA, we’re a 2-hour ferry ride from Victoria, BC. You can arrive by car or plane. Seattle is a 2.5 hour roadtrip, while Portland is four hours away by car. San Francisco is a two-hour flight and a flight from Houston is five hours.

Having graduated from Columbia University School of Law, Janice brings her checkered history of law, technology and real estate development to the Menizei table. Combining her love of the outdoors with her passion for thoughtful hospitality is Janice’s holy grail.
Mark, a forestry graduate from the University of Montana, is well-versed in campground maintenance and safety. Having spent his formative years working hospitality and trail crew at Yellowstone National Park, he’s thrilled to return to his roots.
Founded in the Pacific Northwest, GO’C is an award-winning architecture & design studio inspired by the interplay of rational design and artistic expression. Having a panache for blending PNW drama with structural pragmatism, Aimée and Jon’s efforts have been recognized by the New York Times and AIA.
Titan Builders, a pillar of the local building industry, brings over 20 years of construction experience to Menizei. Having intimate knowledge of the building challenges on the Peninsula, the owner Luke has successfully brought hundreds of projects from design to reality.
