“The Lightbulb Moment”

A couple years ago, my mom arrived home from her annual mammogram appointment and when I saw her quite uncomfortable and sore, I immediately assumed the worst.

Luckily, my mom’s screening results were negative and I was very relieved, however, I was confused why she was in such discomfort. She then described in detail the extremely uncomfortable mammogram ’pancake’ process. Ouch..

I asked if the hospital offered a therapeutic healing or ice pack to relieve her breast pain – she said no. I was confused because from my perspective, I was a college baseball player studying biomedical engineering, and I used several heating and cooling therapeutic pads for my elbows, knees, shoulders, and back. Therefore, I assumed there was an equivalent medical therapeutic device for breasts.

Unfortunately, no such medical device existed. Until now…

That is why I founded The Healing Bra – to relieve breast pain and discomfort. 

Introduction

This version of The Healing Bra is the ‘Everyday’ version, so that it can be worn by anyone experiencing breast pain or discomfort and for general therapeutic relief. As part of the company’s product roadmap, we will develop a Surgical-style, Nursing, Sports and other versions of The Healing Bra for more targeted healing and care. Testing

Over the last 2 years, we have conducted multiple rounds of prototype and wear testing, which has led to our current version of The Healing Bra. During that time, over 70 women of all demographics, ages, bra & cup sizes participated. These trials included breast cancer survivors, nursing mothers, athletes, and women with hormonal changes such as menopause and menstrual cycles. This diverse group also included students as well as working Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, and Lawyers. Ultimately, their feedback was positively and very encouraging, which is why we are confident you will love The Healing Bra.

We have production lined up and ready to go, but as a new brand, we need to guarantee certain production minimums. That is where you come in.
