Short Summary

Fabio and I met while studying our common passion: gastronomic sciences. During our studies, we discovered a common point that united us even more: the love for Tuscany and for Biological and Sustainable high quality products. This led us to an ambitious idea: to create a Gin that embodied the beauty and richness of this extraordinary territory.

• We decided to use only organic products from Val d’Orcia, an area renowned not only for its natural beauty, but also for its thermal waters, a hidden treasure that many still don’t know about. We wanted our Gin to be a tribute to this land, sustainable and of the highest quality, capable of best representing the Tuscan territory.
• Our Gin is not just a drink, but a sensorial experience that brings with it the essence of Tuscany, ready to be shared and appreciated in every special moment. With your support, we can make this gem of the Val d’Orcia known to the whole world, creating an indissoluble link between tradition, quality and innovation.
• This is the first project of the Zincone Experience: with my family we are recreating a Sustainable, Biological Agricultural Sanctuary under the form of an “Agriturismo” (typical Italian Farmhouse) where you will soon be able to enjoy with us the essence of Tuscany, from olive picking to wine making.

The Impact

The difference your contribution will make:

• We want to create a reality that raises awareness: it is fundamental that we start impacting sustainability through small choices. We promote Biological, low impact agriculture. For this first production we will only use biological botanicals, recycled glass and a recycled cork.
• Fabio and I already have been part of sustainability projects: he has used his Chefs knowledge to create sustainable recipe systems and i have taken part in the development of a tool that helps small businesses to be carbon free.
• We truly believe that a conscious choice, even in what you use to make your GinTonic (or GinConic) not only tastes good but can also be a grain of sand in that adds up to the small choices we can make everyday to make this world a better place for the generations to come.

Risks & Challenges

• Our biggest risk is the big spirits market: we want our product to remain a niche high quality produce. We will limit our production to what the land offers.
• We know, due to the unicity of our product, that there will be a high demand. Even if the demand will be higher than the possibility to supply, we will not lower our quality to meet the demand of the market.
