The Story
Peggy and Molly – Episodic Brief Story Arc

One sunny afternoon, Peggy, an English Blue Staffordshire Terrier, found a tiny Australian Magpie chick named Molly who had fallen from her nest. With her parents nowhere to be found, Peggy took Molly under her wing. As Molly grew stronger, the two became inseparable companions, their bond deep and unshakable.

Life in the neighbourhood was filled with adventures for the pets, but a constant threat loomed over Molly. A cunning Jack Russell, Sarg, and his loyal partner in crime, Wolf, a loyal and not-so-bright Irish Wolfhound, who was always scheming to infiltrate Peggy and Molly’s circle of friends.

Every day was a blend of excitement and vigilance. Peggy, Molly, and their friends—a diverse group of neighbourhood pets—enjoyed exploring the backstreets, and local river, playing games in the parklands, and getting into all sorts of mischief. They developed clever strategies to outsmart Sarg, who relentlessly pursued them for his master’s glory.

Peggy’s strength and loyalty, combined with Molly’s intelligence and agility, kept them one step ahead. The tight-knit group, including cats, dogs, birds, and even Terry a wise old sea turtle, worked together to protect Molly. Their unity and friendship turned each day into a new adventure, proving that love and camaraderie could overcome any obstacle, even Sarg’s cunning tricks and relentless pursuit.

The Characters

PEGGY

Peggy is a wise, gentle Staffy with a heart full of fun. Her old soul radiates intelligence and kindness, making her a trusted friend and mentor. Peggy’s playful spirit and sharp mind keep everyone on their toes, blending wisdom and joy in every adventure she embarks on

MOLLY

Molly is an Australian Magpie bursting with personality. Loud, bossy, and playful, he commands attention wherever he goes.  Intelligent and clever, Molly amusingly believes he is a dog, joining in on canine antics and adding his unique flair to the group’s adventures

RUBY
Ruby is a cheeky and mischievous Staffy, brimming with playful energy and a stubborn streak. Despite her antics, she is deeply loving and adores Peggy, whom she looks up to as an older sister. Ruby’s playful nature and fun-loving spirit bring joy and laughter to everyone around her.

SARG & WOLF

Sarg, the Jack Russell Terrier is a sneaky and cunning dog. Always scheming, Sarg takes great pleasure in thwarting Peggy and Molly’s adventures, using his sharp mind and agility to stay one step ahead and cause mischief wherever he goes

Wolf, a big and somewhat dim-witted Irish Wolfhound, is Sarg’s loyal right-hand man. He follows Sarg’s every command, admiring him as a mastermind. Despite his size, Wolf relies on Sarg’s cunning, faithfully aiding in his schemes against Peggy and Molly without fully understanding them.

MATILDA & TOBI

Matilda and Tobi, twin female Border Collies, are the dynamic duo of wit and sarcasm. Their quick minds and sharp tongues make them a formidable pair, always ready with a clever retort or a playful jab. Their humor is seamless, bouncing effortlessly between them, creating an entertaining and electric atmosphere. 

Matilda often starts their banter with a sly comment, while Tobi finishes it with an even sharper punchline. Their synchronized antics and playful rivalry keep everyone on their toes, making them the life of any gathering. Despite their sarcastic exterior, their bond is unbreakable, showcasing their deep sisterly love and loyalty.

CHARLIE

Charlie, a small Cavoodle, is overly playful and annoyingly bouncy, often exasperating the other pets. His boundless enthusiasm and energetic antics make him a whirlwind of excitement. Despite his knack for getting on others’ nerves, his cheerful spirit and affectionate nature endear him to everyone around.

SHELLEY

Shelley, a big, sassy cat, is the group’s self-proclaimed beauty and know-it-all, boasting a self-inflated ego. Spoiled with luxury from her wealthy home, she’s often disliked for her arrogance. However, beneath her pretentious exterior lies a caring heart, a side rarely seen by the others.

JINX, RASCAL & BANDIT

Jinx, Rascal, and Bandit form a mischievous trio of alley cats. They lurk in shadowy corners, always scheming to outwit and catch Molly. Jinx is the mastermind, rascal the quick-witted accomplice, and bandit the cunning strategist.  The strays are always motivated by food. It’s all they think about, where their next meal is coming from.

Together, they’re relentless in their pursuit, blending stealth with feline charm and street-smart tactics.

TERRY

Terry is an ancient sea turtle with a shell weathered by time and wisdom. His eyes twinkle with the tales of countless ocean voyages. Revered by all sea creatures, Terry loves sharing his adventures, offering life lessons wrapped in enchanting stories of the deep blue sea.

TITAN & TWEETY

Titan, nicknamed “The Big Paint,” is a striking Clydesdale x Quarterhorse with a larger-than-life personality. Close friends with his cheeky sidekick Tweety, they form the group’s comedy duo. Titan struts like a stallion, while Tweety finds his antics hilariously embarrassing, making them an unforgettable, well-oiled comedic pair.

Tweety is a lively female Quarterhorse with a playful spirit. Close friends with Titan, she constantly adds humor to their antics, often seen running circles around him. Her curious nature and penchant for making funny faces behind Titan’s back make her an endearing and entertaining presence in their comedic duo.
