“Wake Up, Mr. Sandman!”, is a fictional story about a character named John Sandman who injures his head in a car accident and wakes up in a hospital. John finds out that he´s suffering from a rare kind of Retrograde Psychogenic Amnesia and can´t remember who he is. Like it couldn´t get worse he also gets arrested for first-degree murder. As people around John are trying to wake him up to remember who he is, one person is suspecting that John is actually trying to forget.

This is a book about dreams and dreamers and the pursuit of lucidity while we´re sleeping. It´s also a story about self-realization in the forgetfulness. 

I was inspired to write this book from my own experiences of lucid dreaming. My intention is to tell a story about the importance of our dreams and the strong connection to our daily, so-called conscious choices. 

I´m raising funds to publish the book and translate it into English. It is originally written in Swedish.

This is my first finished book but I love it. I will never stop writing. And I´m also new here on Kickstarter and this is my first project. Maybe it will take some time for me to adapt to all the functionalities, but I´m sure I´ll learn fast and will be a contributing part of this lovely community.
