Going wireless with a pair of headsets is the goal many are striving to achieve. Better still, everyone wants a pair of headsets that’s also noise canceling. While Apple and Sony have active noise-canceling earbuds, not everyone is willing to dig that deep into their pocket for a piece of these gadgets.

PaMu is filling this gap with affordable gadgets that use the same cutting-edge technology as the top-tier gadgets in the market. The latest baby on their platform is the PaMu Quiet Noise Canceling Earbuds, with a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo that has less than 2 weeks to go.

The PaMu Quiet crowdfunding campaign has so far managed to raise over $600,000 from 6,284 backers.

PaMu Quiet Noise Canceling Earbuds

PaMu Quiet is a pair of active noise-canceling earbuds from Padmate company. This pair of headsets is a collaboration of PaMu, AMS, Qualcomm, and Knowles, ensuring that the best technology is used in developing this headset.

For a better sound of what you are listening to, PaMu Quiet cancels out any crowd noise and deletes distractions. This works on all audio information you’re consuming, from audiobooks to music and during calls.

Unlike other models in the market that use either FEED-FORWARD or FEEDBACK noise-canceling, PaMu Quiet uses both to deliver a Hybrid noise-canceling effect for optimum noise cancellation.

The features include:

  • Dual noise sensor technology
  • Dual chip noise canceling
  • CVC 8.0 noise reduction
  • Deep bass
  • Touch control
  • aptX supported
  • Wireless Qi / Type-C
  • Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity

A full charge can last about 10.5 hours for prolonged usage, especially when you are not in the house or office to charge.

Both the right and left earbuds are touch-controlled. You can play, pause, or move to the next track by tapping. A simple tap or two taps also answers or declines any calls.

PaMu app offers more personalized control. The pair will also connect automatically to Apple and Android devices, including the iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, Android phones, laptops, and tablets. The earbuds are water and sweat-resistant (IPX4) for using on any weather condition.

How Does PaMu Quiet Compare to Competitors?

PaMu Quiet uses AMS, which is not available in Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds, AirPods Pro, and Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2. The PaMu Quiet is also lighter at 5.1g and uses wireless charging. Between the other three options, only the AirPods Pro use wireless charging.

On noise reduction, PaMu reduces up to 40dB while AirPods reduce up to 35dB. Sony and Sennheiser have better noise cancellation feature at 23dB and 10dB.

Padmate Tech Team

Padmate Tech company is  HongKong based company, founded in 2010 and is owned by the Herda Group. The company’s goal is to manufacture affordable high-end consumer electronics. The company focusses on developing Bluetooth devices like headsets and speakers, and smart devices like watches and fitness devices.

PaMu is currently selling at a 50% discount on Indiegogo $89, meaning it is affordable compared to the prices of over $180 from the well-known brands. Still, other cheaper earbuds in the market are wireless and noise canceling. PaMu has even gained some positive feedback from the few available reviews online, which can at least indicate the product is good.
