In the pulsating urban drama “Akeno,” we follow the journey of a young Virgin Islander, Akeno, as he navigates the challenges of pursuing his dream of owning a T-shirt business while facing the consequences of a bad decision. With his loyal girlfriend Maya by his side, Akeno confronts dangerous adversaries and learns the true meaning of loyalty and resilience. Ultimately, “Akeno” is a story of redemption and triumph in the face of adversity, showcasing the enduring power of love and determination.

Set in the vibrant streets of our home, the story follows an ambitious youth named Akeno, determined to establish a successful business. However, one bad decision threatens to destroy his dreams, plunging him into a journey of redemption and self-discovery, fueled by his unwavering love for his girlfriend and loyalty to his friend.

Through this project, I aim to shed light on the challenges and triumphs of our community, showcasing the resilience and spirit of our people.
