Support Middle Eastern and North African women and girls to thrive and reach their full potential

Story

Women Of MENA In Technology is a Non-Profit Organization established in Silicon Valley in 2015 with a mission to close the diversity and gender gap in STEM by connecting, mentoring, educating and elevating Middle Eastern and North African women in STEM globally.

For the past 8 years, we have proudly provided resources and have elevated the profiles of thousands of MENA women in STEM. We now have a growing 100,000+ community worldwide with 20 city teams established in the US, Europe, and Canada, and 12 cities to be launched soon, including the MENA region. We have listened to our community’s needs and cultivated in-person connections, global events, and life-changing programs so every woman has the opportunity to thrive.

More than ever, many women worldwide, including in Iran and Afghanistan or even in our backyard in the US, lack access to equal rights, education and resources. We can’t stop now but we need your support to keep going.

What We Need

We are asking our community to support us in our campaign to raise $150,000 by March 30, 2023, in celebration of Women History Month and International Women’s Day.

Your donation can help WoMENAIT drive economic inclusion and equal rights for women refugees coming from the MENA region including Iran and Afghanistan. Imagine a world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Together we can build that future. We continue to ask leaders to invest in MENA women, but have you done that as a community member? Change needs to start with us.

What you will receive when you support?

  • Access to the WoMENAIT community and network with the growing 100,000+ members from around the globe through our WoMENAIT App and social media pages
  • As a member join our in-person and virtual events and connect with like minded people in Tech
