Short Summary

Hello Friend, 

I can call you that because you have come here to consider being a part of this amazing journey. While I may be meeting you for the first time,  many of you may already know me, from my work in film and television. Perhaps you’ve seen me on a favorite series like The Walking Dead, or a great action film like Unstoppable, or a cult classic horror like The Devils Rejects, or even a quirky romantic comedy, like Waitress. All of which are my favorites. Make no mistake I have a great passion in my work in all of these projects. But this one, Ace In The Hole is my heart. I am so excited to present this opportunity for your involvement. 

I want to take a moment to personally thank you for being here. It is an honor to present to you my feature film, Ace In The Hole. It truly is a story that I fell in love with while writing. As I have been on film sets these last 20 plus years, I have learned so much in observing truly GREAT directors. Tony Scott’s infectious energy, Gore Verbinski’s tenacious vision, Alejandro Inarritu’s attention to detail, Adrienne Shelly’s impeccable actor’s instinct, Rob Zombie’s sense of story. These are all key traits I have had the good fortune to pick up on. Now it’s my turn to bring my qualities to the campfire to tell this pertinent tale. For I am nothing if not a storyteller. 

With your help we will tell a story of Faith, Family and Fishing. Our Story. Your contribution will lead the way in getting our story told. It is vital to have funds to hire cast and crew.  Based on the relationships I have forged over the years, I am very confident I will be able to attach top quality players to all key roles. This 50K will get us moving, toward production.  While my ask is moderate in amount, it is mighty in offer. I know I can call in favors from Industry associates.

This is as much about you as it is me, we do this together in Faith. 

Just so you know, my favorite film is Its A Wonderful Life, not just at Christmas, but always. It simply has a great message, and makes me feel hopeful in the end. That is the bar I set for us. Our story is one of rites of passage passed on through fellowship. At it’s core , it is a story of the struggle that we all encounter with our Faith over fear. It is a slice of everyday life with the joy of today, and the hope of tomorrow. I am confident you will relate to everyone in the script, as it is built on real people with real everyday obstacles, just like you and me. I am devoted to providing family values to  an audience that is under served in today’s market. That is why I am doing this film. We need films like this because it is a wonderful story. We have an audience just waiting for us to make this story. In the end life is about choice, and I choose Faith. I am hopeful that you have Faith in me with your investment.  Even if you are not able to invest, you likely know someone who is looking for just this opportunity.
