What is Meaningwave?

Meaningwave is a musical psychotechnology developed by Akira The Don with the aim of helping listeners to achieve their potential in this lifetime. In 2020 we made our first campaign, and got the Alan Watts WATTSWAVE Web of Life albums made! Now we’re going to make it happen for JBPWAVE! Pressing vinyl is difficult and expensive, so to do it, and do it properly, we’re crowdfunding the process.

You’ll be able to get the BRAND NEW album, JBPWAVE: Aesthetic, on gorgeous double vinyl!

You’ll also be able to get the classic album JBPWAVE: GENESIS as well!

And for the completists, we have a very limited amount of WATTSWAVE vinyl as well, so you can own the complete Meaningwave vinyl collection!

We’ve released over 25 Meaningwave albums digitally, and the music receives over 3 million streams EVERY MONTH… but we all know that a particularly violent bit of sunspot activity could wipe out every hard drive on the planet! Thus, to safeguard the future of this vital psychotechnology, it is our sacred mission to MAKE IT REAL! The preservation of Meaningwave music for the ages depends upon the success of this project!

People ask me EVERY DAY if I can get the early JBPWAVE mixes on Spotify and other streaming platforms… So far we’ve taken JBPWAVE 1 and turned it into the acclaimed FATHER album (2019), and now we’ve taken JBPWAVE 2 and made the forthcoming AESTHETIC album (and people are already saying of the two tracks they’ve heard its their favourite Meaningwave yet…)

At that rate, if we do one a year, we’ll get the beloved JBPWAVE 6 albumified by 2025.

WHO CAN WAIT THAT LONG?

So here’s the idea. If we can hit the next series of stretch goals, we’ll be able to employ an elite squad of world class musicians and mastering engineers to work with Akira around the clock to produce ALL THE JBPWAVES as FULL ALBUMS… just like FATHER and AESTHETIC… and get them ALL MADE AND RELEASED in 2021!

ALONGSIDE the already confirmed Meditations Vol 2, Jocko 2, and other epic Meaningwave albums that are on the way!
