EpiLynx Skin Care and Cosmetics is a scientifically-based, gluten-free, allergen-free, and clean beauty company founded by Dr. Liia Ramachandra, PharmD, PhD. We are also free from the top 14 allergens, are nut-free, and have a number of vegan products on our website.

Dr. Liia Ramachandra was diagnosed with psoriasis at a young age and a gluten intolerance as an adult. EpiLynx developed out of her personal need for gluten-free products. Dr. Liia saw that there was not a skin care company that specifically catered to those with celiac disease, autoimmune disorders, and other allergies. Thus, EpiLynx was born.

Dr. Liia dedicated herself to making gluten-free, allergen-free skincare that is not only safe but transforms the skin. Her hope is to make people with autoimmune diseases and allergies proud of their complexion and to always feel beautiful.

“EpiLynx was born from my struggle with gluten allergy and psoriasis and realizing that I wasn’t alone. Not being able to find skincare products that could guarantee being allergen-free and gluten free, my husband, Dr Sumant Ramachandra, MD, PhD, MBA (immunologist and scientist), and I decided to create our own to help patients and people struggling with autoimmune disease and allergies. Both of us have over 30 years of pharmaceutical medicine development experience. We are now embarking on the new adventure and it is to create a new line to add to our collection. We are ready to branch out into the EpiLynx baby/kids space. There are so many little babies and kids with allergies and autoimmune diseases (such as 20% of kids have eczema). Skin is our largest organ and everything we put on our skin, eyes, face and our scalp will get absorbed into the body. This can possibly give an allergic or an autoimmune adverse reaction. Also when you put ingredients on your skin that the baby/child might be allergic for, it can produce a very severe skin reaction such as contact dermatitis or rash. There is really no brand yet out there that is completely free of al 14 allergens (eggs, milk, fish, crustaceans, mollusks, peanuts, tree-nuts, sesame seeds, wheat (gluten), soya, celery, mustard, lupin, sulphur dioxide and sulfites) but also from corn, parabens, phthalates, casein and other nut oils.

We produce everything in our laboratory in Libertyville, IL, USA. Dr Liia always develops and formulates the formulas along with the team pf pharmacists in her lab.
