AyeAye® Systems is a maritime start-up from the Netherlands, by sailors for sailors. Inspired by their challenges in outfitting a pre-loved sailboat, founders Jamos and Leonie Tan decided that boating technology for sailing yachts should be more accessible and easier to use. The AyeAye® boat system is the all-in-one hardware and software solution that grew out of this desire.

Our Promise

AyeAye® Systems sees the needs of sailors. As sailors, we are personally interested in strengthening the sailing community and providing people with easier access to modern boat technology. We support open device standards and the open-source community. Sustainability is a core part of our vision, both in the way we operate, our choice of materials, production and the development of upcoming features.

Production and Partners

AyeAye® System 1 is produced in-house, in collaboration with regional partners. Both hardware and software are made by our designers and developers.

AyeAye® Systems is firmly established in North Holland and is supported by the government there. We are part of METIP, the Maritime Emerging Technologies Innovation Park, and promote the ecosystem with numerous maritime partners.

For the past few years, we’ve worked tirelessly to make expensive and complicated maritime products accessible for all sailing lovers.

Technical development

We have put not only time but also our passion into the development of the hardware and the app. Both have been tested in the lab, on our own test boats and by dedicated members of the matey community.

The first idea and prototype development might have taken place at home in the attic, but the implementation of the final development and production is done on a professional level. With our capable crew and strong business partners at our side, we can offer a high-quality and well-designed product that we hope our supporters will enjoy.
