Phase 1 of a documentary covering the Crypto 6 case and FBI raid in New Hampshire
Once upon a time in a town called Keene
On March 16th, 2021, the FBI and other government agencies raided the studios of libertarian radio show Free Talk Live (FTL), the Bitcoin Embassy and three other private homes in Keene, New Hampshire, with armored vehicles and swat teams. Six people were arrested that day in what would become an ongoing court case that has shed light on what the FBI would call an over ten-year investigation, but the Free Talk Live crew would refer to it as a decade-long harassment campaign.
This documentary aims to tell the story of the Crypto 6 and dig into the world of the libertarian hub of Keene, New Hampshire and the crypto community inhabiting it. Are they the culprits of the fraud crimes using cryptocurrencies like the FBI is accusing them, among other things, or are they freedom-loving individuals just looking to be left alone by what they perceive as an overbearing and oppressive government? Come down that rabbit hole, for there’s a story to be told.
Budget breakdown of phase 1
Film making is not cheap, however the producers want to be as transparent as possible. Everything has been contemplated, including perks’ costs and Indiegogo’s cut. It’s important to clarify the phase 1 refers to shooting days only. Post-production and distributions costs will be included in phase 2, a campaign to be held later on. If you have any more questions, please ask.

Shooting days: 21 in total
3 people crew (camera, audio, producer): 20500.00 USD
Equipment rental and insurance: 7865.00 USD
Lodging and travel expenses: 12000.00 USD
Subtotal shooting expenses: 40365.00 USD
Indiegogo fee (10%): 4036.50 USD
Total shooting expenses: 44401.50 USD
Round up to 45000 USD
Max cost of perks: 12,375.00 USD (Production, shipment & Indiegogo fee included).
Grand total 57375.00 USD
Round up to 60000.00 USD
*This rounded up number will give the crew a bit of wiggle room regarding shooting days. There might be the need to quickly mobilize the team back to New Hampshire if something unexpected happens. That little extra money could be vital. Anything that is left over will be used for phase 2.
*The producers are aware that there are perks that cost less to produce and hence the most expensive one has been considered as part of the budget required to shoot the film. Any money left after the shooting, will be destined for the post-production and hence phase 2 will require less backing.

Stories like these matter
The world today is in need of alternative voices that are not afraid to speak the truths about oppressors. Corporate media has proven time and again, that they will just follow and showcase whoever is paying them, forgetting that at some point, they used to have journalistic integrity. Luckily the internet is not only good to fight strangers on forums and comment sections, but for alternative voices to be heard. But even when people like the Crypto 6 just try to stray away from the Governments overbearing control in a peaceful matter, and use platforms like Free Talk Live to speak up against their immorality, the authorities will send their boots to smother any legitimate dissent. That’s why their story matters, to be told in many formats and to as many people as possible. If you believe in the divine given right to self determination, as long as no one else is harmed, then you can be a part of a project attempting to give those people who preach liberty and peace, another megaphone.
The Challenges of Guerrilla Cinema
First of all, thank you for reading this far down. We won’t lie to you, filming compelling stories with limited budget is hard, but not impossible. There is always the risk to blow out the money while barely capturing anything worth telling, while missing out on the key moments. But that’s why we bring on board competent professionals who also believe in the value of movie story telling. People, who are as passionate about telling stories, as they are hungry for their next big break. This is people that have worked in international projects for big media names, and yet, are humble enough to commit to projects like these. That’s why we think we will be able to tell an amazing story that matters, because the team behind this, is as talented as it is united.
Can’t become a backer? Help us out! Spread the voice!
Backing the project can cost as little as a little as 25 dollars, but we know that the current world and its shaky economy isn’t the best grounds to ask people to spend money in projects like these. So if your financial situation doesn’t allow you to do so, please, spend your matter where it matters, but we encourage you to do us the enormous favor to spread the word about us and be part of the conversation. We would very much appreciate it.
