Where the idea was born… 

Digital nomads move constantly from one place to another: from a meeting room to the desk, to a cafeteria, to another meeting room…

To perform their activities, they need to carry work tools always with them besides the laptop: pens, notes, notebook, mouse, charger,… ending up using the laptop as a tray.

TWIST, the little one of the family. Versatile and light, a multipurpose element that you can always carry with you to transport what you most need at hand. 

You can put it in a notebook, a laptop, to tie your charger cables, in a folder, even leave it fixed on the screen to always have your things at hand. A real ally in your day to day.

The label has a magnet inside, so you can attach your earphones (yes, they have metal inside) when you use TWIST in your desktop computer.

Also, you can use TWIST to cover your camera…to protect your privacy.

Twist is made in two sizes to cover more uses, and you can choose between black or gray.

Why beblau products are unique?

Because we are neither a bag nor a backpack, neither a cover nor a sleeve. We are more flexible, light and convenient for a digital nomad lifestyle, creating a new product category for the “micro moments” of mobility of digital nomads.

Making of…
 

After facing our own frustration to move from one place to another with our work tools, or go to a meeting and forget something, we begin to conceptualize intelligent solutions for this need. We started making the first prototypes ourselves, and since then we have been improving the design, until we reach the best solution. 

Now we have a reliable manufacturer that had made the first samples with the quality we are looking for. We are very happy with the results.

We have already done a previous campaign, and we are in the production phase!

The beblau story 

Beblau was created in 2018 by Drop-innovation, a Barcelona based innovation and product design consultancy. With beblau we aim to become a benchmark brand of accessories to make work life easier for workers, freelancers and entrepreneurs with a digital lifestyle.

We have worked for many years creating successful products for our clients worldwide clients. With all our experience we have decided to launch a brand, a new adventure, creating our own line of products, which we have created with great passion.

The first idea for this collection came about a year ago. We started to think on the painful “micro moment” of moving with your laptop from our desktops to meeting rooms. The burden of taking with you a mouse, pen, notebook, charger,…was not solved. You need all these items, but you don’t want to carry them in a backpack, since you move within the same office space…we researched and explored so many ideas to solve this, and after some sketches and prototypes, we arrived to the essence of this collection.  

One year later we have in our hands the perfect way to move with your items to work wherever you want.
