THE PLOT

8 years after Camp Trustfall was closed down due to the grisly murders of Devilface, a new owner has reopened the camp under the name Camp Red Horizon. The camp is wrapping up it’s first successful year being reopened when counselors being to disappear. Ms. Crowell (Felissa Rose) is convinced that Devilface is back and she’s determined to stop him before Red Horizon suffers the same fate as Camp Trustfall.

BACK TO CAMP

Bloody Summer Camp was released in 2021 as a homage to the classic 80’s slashers that we grew up watching and love. We took inspiration from films like Friday the 13th, Sleepaway Camp and The Burning. After all the remakes where studios where taking classic slashers and bringing them into modern time, we wanted to do the opposite. We went back to the 80’s to bring you a new slasher that people could watch and love. We weren’t trying to come up with something completely original. Instead, we wanted to bring you more of something you already loved by making a slasher film that had all the elements that you enjoyed from the classic slashers:  the 80’s feel, the summer camp location, the blend of horror and cheesy comedy and 100% practical effects. We even brought along everyone’s favorite summer camp scream queen, Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) and funny man Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie).

People really connected with what we made and over time, the film has found a fanbase that loves it for the 80s slasher love letter that it is. Over the years, I’ve been asked about a sequel and while we always wanted to make a sequel, we focused on other projects while we gave the film time to get out there and in front of more eyes. After 3 year, we think it’s finally time to go back to camp and bring Devilface back for another summer to remember. We hope you will join us and help us make this sequel better than the original in every way!

Bloody Summer Camp 2 will feature a lot of new cast members but will also have some returning cast such as Spartacus Jones as Cornelius the Cook, Rick Jermain as Sheriff Sidowra and Felissa Rose and Dave Sheridan returning as fan favorites , Ms. Crowell and Roman Wilmore. We hope to bring more familiar names on to the project that horror fans will love depending on our budget.

OTHER PROJECTS

Since Bloody Summer Camp (2021), we have worked on and released our horror intruder film, Go Away starring Thom Mathews (Friday the 13th Part 6) and Tuesday Knight (Nightmare on Elm Street 4) and most recently, we just wrapped up our latest film, The Slasher Nurse which is a female masked slasher featuring Beverly Randolph (Return of the Living Dead) and Brian Bremer (Pumpkinhead). Both films also feature Felissa Rose as well

WRITER/DIRECTOR

I am Dave Kerr,  writer, producer and director. I am the creator of Slasher 15 Productions and I am a horror fan just like you. This will be my 6th full length feature horror film. After completing my first film Curse of the Slasher Nurse in 2017, I set a goal to make each film better than the last.  Better story, better quality, better everything. My latest film, The Slasher Nurse, was my most ambitious project so far. With two crowdfunders, we raised over $70,000 and featured horror icons Diana Prince (The Last Drive In with Joe Bob Briggs), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Brian Bremer (Pumpkinhead) and Beverly Randolph (Return of the Living Dead).

SPECIAL FX/PRODUCER

Amber Fulcher, who produced both of the Slasher Nurse films as well as produced and did special effects for Bloody Summer Camp, Go Away, and The Slasher Nurse, will be joining me again as a producer and FX artist for our sequel to Bloody Summer Camp. Amber is an even bigger horror fan than I am and her attention to detail is vital when creating realistic gore FX.

PRODUCERS

Along with myself and Amber, Michael McGlynn and Jaime Weisman are our producers for Bloody Summer Camp 2: Red Horizon. Michael and Jaime joined Slasher 15 Productions on our third film, the original Bloody Summer Camp, as Producers and also produced our last two films, Go Away and The Slasher Nurse. We are excited to have them returning to produce the sequel to Bloody Summer Camp as well. Mike and Jaime made themselves a valuable resource during the first Bloody Summer Camp so we’re excited to have them helping make this movie great as well.
