My son Thomas was diagnosed January 7, 2019 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
He had been unwell for about a month. He was pale, barely ate, and kept getting fevers. I took him to the doctor several times and they kept saying he had a virus. Finally he could barely walk and a blood test was ordered.
The next day our world shattered.
After a month of treatment, his bone marrow still contained small traces of leukemia, making him high-risk.
Happily, on May 12, 2020 he was declared in remission. He started maintenance therapy in September and still has 2 1/2 years of treatment.
The good news happened that the hospital announced that there was a match for him. The surgery will take place at the end of September 2021 after completing the testing procedures.
However, due to the large cost of the surgery, we couldn’t afford it, so I created this donation campaign for my son, with the infinite love of his father and everyone’s support. hope he gets surgery soon and recovers.
