Because the Bunny Man Can…
Introduction
I am Sarah Giercksky also known as Sarah of Horror and have been involved in the Swedish Horror industry for a lot of years. I released my first feature film Sargad (Wounded) in 2017 and also made the short horror comedy Create Your Killer in 2019 plus some other short films aswell including Mimes and Rotten Love. This campaign is to raise the funds for my second upcoming feature film Bunny Man Slaughter, which will be a SOV-style horror comedy about a Bunny Man killer myth, who has become an Urban Legend, but is the Urban Legend true or not? A few unlucky people will find out in some hilariously horrible ways.
There aren’t many films like this in Sweden and my passion has always been to help the Swedish Horror industry grow and now is the right time with Bunny Man Slaughter. Here is one of the promotional videos that I talked about in my campaign video.
What We Need & What You Get
The cast and crew are so important and we couldn’t make this movie without them. Even though they signed up for this project without wanting any money, we want to be able to pay them something ofcourse.
We need the proper equipment, meaning great light, animatronics, sound etc and we have calculated a budget of 1,700 dollars for this and if we hit this goal we won’t need to worry about how this movie will look or sound.
No one goes hungry on my set. I always make sure to deliver fresh hot meals, fruits, snacks, water, te, coffee, energydrinks and whatever my cast and crew need to be able to focus and give me their best. The estimated cost for food on this production will be around 800 dollars.
A lot of the film will be taking place outside, but in case we decide to change something up or add another location it will be good to have some emergency money set aside for that cost ofcourse.
A lot of our scenes require a lot of props to really bring out the story and comedy in some of the situations. The estimated cost for props are 1000 dollars including clothes, modifying masks etc for the characters.
Here comes the most important part in our film, the SFX and we do plan on going over the top with it, but to be able to do that we need some funding for it and the estimated cost is 1,500 dollars.
Risks & Challenges
We are still planning on going through with this project even if we do not hit our goal, but by helping us hit our goal the movie will ofcourse be a lot better.
Other Ways You Can Help
We understand that not everyone can donate and that is perfectly fine, but please do share this campaign and let other know about this strange little upcoming horror comedy movie from Sweden called Bunny Man Slaughter.
We will ofcourse also keep you updated with anything that happens.
