BYOK stores your work securely offline on its 16mb of internal memory, capable of storing over 1,000,000 words and making sure your writing is always accessible, even when you’re on the go and without an internet connection.

And when you’re ready to back everything up, you’ve got 2 easy options:

• Transfer the data to your computer using USB
• Use the sync feature to store your files online through Google Drive. (More options being explored as we speak).

  Online syncing is done automatically when enabled.

1. Power it on
With a simple press of the power button, the display comes to life, ready for your distraction-free writing session.

2. Connect your favorite keyboard.
Bluetooth or USB, the choice is yours! For Bluetooth, simply pair your device (just once during the initial setup), or connect using USB (wireless dongles also supported!).

3. Set up syncing *(optional)
Want to keep your drafts backed up and accessible anywhere, anytime? Set up syncing with Google Drive. Once set up, it will automatically sync your files when online.

If you don’t wish to use syncing, you can always transfer your files to your computer manually using a USB cable instead.

4. Start writing!

When I bought my first distraction-free writing device, I immediately knew it was how I wanted to write. After all, it significantly helped me to stay focused while writing in a distracting environment.

However, over time, some concerns started to nag at me. Some distraction-free devices were prohibitively expensive, and some couldn’t keep up with my writing or had bad battery life. I also cared about flexibility—having control over the way I laid them out for the sake of posture and comfort.

And that’s when the idea for BYOK (Bring Your Own Keyboard) came to me. I set on a mission to create a new writing tool — one that’s not only affordable but also offers flexibility and convenience, all without distractions, in order to improve our quality of life.
