We just ran a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised over $60,000 in a 21 day campaign (our goal was $8,999). We’re currently working to fulfill those orders. We don’t want to waste a month between the end of our first campaign and the launch of our ecommerce business. The purpose of our business isn’t webcams. The purpose of our business is to help people build better human connections in their online work- and Center Cam is the tool.

Risks & Challenges

We partnered with an existing manufacturer, so we have things to offer a typical startup can’t; like a one-year limited warranty. The device is plug and play to most PC and Mac systems. The proprietary clip is what brings it all together. There are always risks associated with international shipments, but if they affect us they will affect the entire market. We currently have operational models available and have more in production.

Our biggest challenge is to scale fast enough to meet what we expect initial demand to be- which is why we’re here on Indiegogo.
