CheB is a crypto based, hyper local retail platform. The purpose of this platform is to promote and encourage the purchasing of goods from small business owners and vendors that sell footwear, primarily sneakers, within their own communities. CheB ensures to participating sellers an influx of buyers as we direct internet traffic to their location, for business owners, or uploaded footwear, for vendors. The platform assists consumers by offering specific footwear related to their filters and search history and offering better options for when they can receive their purchased goods. CheB will be the first e-commerce-based platform to allow consumers, and investors, the ability to invest within the platform using our very own token and the ability to use their investments to purchase footwear. CheB’s aspiration is to encourage the accumulation of wealth within communities where it was difficult before, and to allow individuals that were once unable to invest in the stock market or to purchase sneakers have a newfound opportunity to do so
CheB wishes to be the catalyst for the convergence of e-commerce and cryptocurrency. CheB acknowledges the potential of the ever-growing market of both the footwear industry and cryptocurrency. The footwear and athletic footwear industry are projected to reach $94.53 billion and $15.93 billion, respectively in the United States by the end of 2022. Researchers have projected that 90% of sales in the footwear market will be attributable to non-luxury goods, by the end of 2022. However, with the rise in the footwear market, alongside the detrimental effects Covid-19 had on supply chain, came the insane inflation of footwear selling prices. The sneaker community are given sneaker drops with limited pairs to stir up hype, and when the sneakers are released the community are left in shock as bots and groups of hired consumers acquire all the pairs that cost retail prices and resell them for a higher asking price. Many sneaker communities are affected because sneaker reselling platforms streamline the higher asking price making it difficult to obtain a pair of sneakers.
CheB wants to solve the issues of both the footwear and crypto community by converging both worlds on the platform. For the sneaker community, CheB is bringing power back to small business owners and consumers. Small businesses have come under pressure as an upswing in e-commerce and store concepts created by major sportswear manufacturers has put a lot of pressure on stationary retail stores. CheB wants to assist these stores in bringing more internet traffic their direction with our data driven platform. CheB wants to offer crypto investors a platform that caters to them by creating our own token. For those already invested in crypto, CheB makes them convert their previously purchased coins/tokens into our token to purchase footwear. The reason for the conversion is because CheB wants prices to be streamline for every consumer using the platform. It’s CheB’s goal to make the purchasing of footwear simple enough for every individual using the platform.
Value in CheB grows as people continue to buy and sell goods on the platform, but the true value comes from its crypto service. Allowing people to invest in CheB through crypto allows them to receive passive income every so often to then spend again in the platform. However, CheB is not solving a new problem, but instead, we want to revolutionize the world of e-commerce for those a part of sneaker reselling communities and cryptocurrency. CheB’s value proposition stems from the operations of the platform. For customers, CheB is using data from consumer searches, filters, and location to fulfill a request. For sneaker stores, CheB will use internet traffic to highlight and support subscribed sneaker stores, which will offer them a new customer base.
Risks and challenges
Financial Risks: Starting a business is not an easy task. It’s a humongous financial risk, but it’s always worth the gamble when you know the founder is a hard worker. CheB plans on making progress public through this platform so investors will see what CheB is spending on. CheB is working with the state of Connecticut to start the platform so many of the risks will be discovered before CheB goes live.
