Fully Carbon Construction

The Chedech bicycle features a full carbon construction, including the main frame, rear frame, handle post, fork, handlebar, and seat post. This carbon body absorbs vibrations from the ground, providing a smooth riding experience. Additionally, the lightweight nature of carbon significantly reduces the bike’s weight, with the 6-speed external gear model weighing just 8.6kg, including pedals.

The currently developing Chedech disc brake model is expected to weigh approximately 8.9kg.

모든 부품이 카본으로 구성됨

체데크 자전거는 메인 프레임, 리어 프레임 외 핸들 포스트와 포크, 그리고 핸들바, 또한 안장바까지 전체가 카본으로 되어 있습니다. 이 카본 차체는 바닥으로부터 올라오는 진동을 잡아 주어 부드러운 라이딩 감각을 제공하고, 또한 무게 면에서 크게 가벼워 6단 외장 기어 모델의 무게는 페달을 포함해서 8.6kg입니다.

현재 개발 중인 체데크 디스크 브레이크 모델의 무게는 약 8.9kg으로 예정되어 있습니다.

Reasons for Crowdfunding

Since 2016, Chedech has been continuously developing its technology. We are now on the verge of a significant technological leap, which involves creating a new bicycle equipped with disc brakes. This model will feature hydraulic disc brakes, a 10-speed external gear system, and a more advanced rear rack.

The Chedech team has decided to name this new model the Chedech Tour.

크라우드 펀딩을 하는 이유

체데크는 2016년부터 지금까지 지속적인 기술 개발을 해 오고 있습니다.
현재는 커다란 기술적 도약을 앞두고 있는데, 그것은 디스크 브레이크를 장착한 새로운 자전거를 만드는 것입니다. 해당 모델은 유압식 디스크 브레이크를 장착하고, 10단 외장 기어를 차용하며, 또한 더욱 더 진보된 리어랙을 부착하는 일련의 계획들을 담고 있습니다.
체데크팀은 해당 모델의 이름을 Chedech Tour 라고 부르기로 결정하였습니다.

Chedech engaged in a legal battle with Brompton for a remarkable five years, from 2018 to March 2023. The lawsuit, which began in Belgium, circulated throughout European countries and ultimately reached the European Court of Justice, where judges from five countries convened. After an initial victory, Chedech fought against Brompton’s appeal and achieved a final triumph in 2023.

체데크는 2018년부터 2023년 3월까지 무려 5년의 세월 동안 브롬톤과 법적 소송을 벌였습니다. 벨기에에서 시작된 소송은 유럽 전체 국가에 회람된 후 5개 나라 판사들이 모여 벌이는 유럽사법재판소까지 열렸으며, 체데크는 1차 승소 이후 브롬톤의 항소에 맞서 싸워 최종 승리하였습니다.

This is due to Chedech’s unique carbon frame design. The main frame of the Chedech bicycle is divided into two durable structures, providing an exclusive impact absorption system.

따라올 수 없는 특허 기술

체데크 자전거가 시장에 선을 보인 것은 2016년도입니다. 그러나 지난 8년의 세월 동안 단 한대의 자전거도 3단 접이 방식으로 카본 구성은 없었습니다. 그것은 체데크가 가진 독보적인 카본 프레임의 구성에 기인합니다. 체데크의 메인 프레임은 내구 구조가 둘로 나뉘어 독자적인 충격 흡수 구조를 가집니다. 앞으로도 해당 기술을 사용하지 않고 3단 접이식 자전거를 카본 차체로 만드는 것은 불가능할 것입니다.

Dual Safety Lock Mechanism

The Chedech bicycle features a dual safety lock mechanism on the folding parts of the main frame and handlebars. This technology not only ensures a safer riding experience but also allows for very quick folding and unfolding.

이중안전잠금장치

체데크 자전거는 메인 프레임과 핸들바 등에 적용되는 접이 부분에 이중안전잠금장치를 개발하여 부착하였습니다. 해당 기술로 인해 더욱 더 안심하고 달릴 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 매우 빠르게 접고 펴는 것이 가능해 졌습니다.

Development Period

The development of this bicycle involves standardizing parts, placing bulk orders, and manufacturing with these components. The Chedech team estimates a total development period of six months. Of course, during this development period, you can still purchase the existing Chedech 6-speed external gear bicycle.

기술 개발 기간

해당 자전거의 개발을 위해서는 부품 표준화를 거쳐 대량 주문을 하고 해당 부품으로 제작을 하는 과정 등이 소요됩니다. 체데크 팀은 해당 개발 기간을 총 6개월로 생각합니다.
물론 해당 기술 개발 기간 중에도 여러분들이 기성의 체데크 외장 6단 자전거를 구입하실 수 있습니다.

After-Sales Policy

For the past eight years, Chedech has provided diligent after-sales service to all purchasers. If you are in Korea, you can receive service through Chedech dealerships or directly from the main office. If you are overseas, please contact our main office if any issues arise. We will respond proactively by sending new parts whenever possible. The warranty period for products related to the carbon frame is three years.
