WE HIT GOAL!!  Holy smokes.  I’m so floored by this.  Thank you everyone!   It all happened so fast. 

Our new stretch goal is $50,000 and with that comes a SOUNDTRACK and Original Music!  More details to come but if we hit that goal I can pay for: additional filming in LA, Post-Production and music for a Soundtrack.

I just can’t quit these Lesbian/Queer Holiday RomComs!  I really love making them and I think it is so important for the community to celebrate the holiday season with as many cheesy Lesbian/Queer Holiday RomComs as possible!  I am back again to ask for your help to make the movie.  I was all set with enough funds to make it and then COVID hit, which cost us much more than we budgeted.  I need your help to finish the movie.

“Christmas at the Ranch” is a sweet, lighthearted lesbian/queer holiday romcom. 

When Haley Hollis returns to her family ranch to try and save it from closure, she wasn’t banking on spending so much time with ranch hand Kate – or falling for her.

What We Need & What You Get

• We need help with post-production.  Our movie is more expensive now because we administered COVID tests to everyone and used social distancing on set, which makes things much slower than usual. We’re dedicated to the safety of our cast and crew and no one tested positive for COVID during filming!

The Production Team (just me this time)

I have decided to go out on my own to producer this film.  While it takes a village to make a movie this will be the first movie I’ve done that is truly “A Christin Baker Film”.  I am both excited and scared by this but I think it is time to launch out on my own by creating “A Baker Production” and this is the first movie that will be released under this banner.

About me: Christin Baker has been producing and distributing innovative, high-quality films and series for more than 10 years through Tello Films.  We love strong women, and we don’t feel that there are enough stories about us.  Our mission and passion is to produce content that includes the wonderful spectrum of strong women that is often lacking in mainstream media. 

The Backstory

In 2018 Tello Films ran a Queer Holiday Feature Pitch contest.  We received fantastic pitches from across the country and settled on three different and wonderful holiday-themed features. After the successes of “Season of Love” and “I Hate New Year’s”, we are following up with Julie Anton’s feature, “Christmas at the Ranch”!
