Summary

My name is Brenden Horned. I created Clermont Publishing to provide quality resources to authors while creating innovative experiences for readers. We have already had the privilege to make a difference in our local literature community. With book drives for local organizations and sponsoring local author events. Now we get to take our change and experiences worldwide!

This application will allow users to experience the convenience of electronic books with the cozy comfort of a physical book. Exploring a new book in an environment of your choosing without surrounding distractions! Also, allowing users to interact in a video call with characters of their choosing from their favorite books. 

When I read the most was a time when I felt alone as I know many readers in the world may feel. I, as many others just craved to feel connected. This opportunity to connect with characters will provide an aid to loneliness and will save the life of someone who is feeling alone and disconnected!

What We Need & What You Get

• We are raising $250,000 dollars in total to complete this project. We are searching for funding in many areas and avenues to create this impactful program.
  • The funding will be handled by Clermont Publishing for the use of creating and launching this program. Various areas where this money will be used include Application Development, Graphic Design, Marketing and Promotion, Content Creation, as well as Development and Marketing Team Salaries.
• By donating to our vision, you will get exclusive project updates and access, Clermont Publishing Merch, and exclusive access to events relating to the program!
• If the entire goal is not yet met by the specified date, Clermont Publishing will continue to secure funding allowing us to ultimately achieve this vision in entirety!

The Impact

I know that many people including myself have felt as though the world is moving 5x faster than it was 6 years ago. It seems impossible to escape distractions and to allow your mind to wonder into creative areas. In addition, the World Health Organization states that there are more than 720,000 people who die from suicide every year.

Our vision is to provide this program to the world so that people will have the opportunity to read away from distractions and regain their creative nature. Our vision is to provide an opportunity for readers who feel alone and abandoned to connect with someone they admire. A character they always wanted to ask this one question to, a character that can listen and be a support to some of those who are battling suicidal thoughts.
