CluePuzzle reinvents the traditional jigsaw puzzle experience by combining it with a dynamic, goal-oriented escape box adventure. Piece by piece, you will be moving toward the heart of the Pyramid to open the box and discover its main mystery!

In CluePuzzle, putting together puzzle pieces triggers the hidden mechanisms of the box. Each side features unique art and mechanics. To avoid spoilers, we will reveal only a tiny bit of the mechanics, and you can discover the rest as you play!

Paris, 1804. The German scientist Alexander von Humboldt returns from a five-year expedition, which is considered the second great discovery of America.

He publishes numerous significant scientific papers about the American continent’s culture and nature. However, he refrains from publishing detailed studies on the Pyramid of the Sun, despite spending considerable time in Teotihuacan, one of America’s oldest and largest cities. 55 years later, shortly before his death, Humboldt manages to recreate an ancient pyramid-shaped artifact which presumably was used to select those worthy of access to the Pyramid of the Sun. The parts of this artifact were recently found in the archives of Humboldt University of Berlin. As a researcher, you are presented with the opportunity to restore the artifact and unravel the enigma from ancient times!

1. Release the puzzle pieces

The first step in solving the Pyramid of the Sun is to release the puzzle pieces from the tray underneath the pyramid. Feel free to return the Pyramid back onto the empty tray if you want to position the Pyramid higher.

2. Do the jigsaw puzzles

Now it is time to complete the jigsaw puzzle pictures side by side.

As soon as the picture is complete, some mechanisms can be activated, and locks can be opened

3. Reveal the secret

Unlock the secret mechanisms side after side to open the CluePuzzle and reveal the secret of the Pyramid of the Sun!

Second Layer Puzzle Expansions

We designed the Pyramid of the Sun in a way that allows applying a second layer of a jigsaw puzzle onto the pictures of the basic game. This will not only prolong your puzzling experience but will also give you a chance to change the aesthetics of the pyramid. Applying the second layer is quick and simple. All you have to do is put on the black paper spacer, apply the wooden frames and do the puzzles!

The Turntable CluePuzzle is a gift box, which can be opened through solving the brainteaser. As in the Pyramid of the Sun, assembling the jigsaw puzzle pieces is a necessary condition on the way to opening the mechanical locks of the box.

ClueFrame is a picture frame combined with a brain teaser designed as a perfect present for any occasion!  Suitable for landscape and portrait 10×15 cm images. The frame opens through solving the logical puzzles and as a reward one gets to see the picture hidden inside.

Part of the puzzle contains a 4-digit number, which can be customized to any combination. For example, it may honor the birth year of the birthday person or the day when you and your partner first met.

Every mini-puzzle comes as a wooden kit and includes a wooden frame with a stand and 24 wooden puzzle pieces created on the basis of original artwork from the Pyramid of the Sun done by Maryna Rudko.
