Behind the Design: A new category of Casual Shoes

Our aim was to came up with a design that combines comfort you normally see in performance sneakers with the style and shape of casual shoes.

This is how we made the most comfortable casual shoe on the market.

 Starting off with our Toe Cap material: Adds resistance, durability and a cool look, but it’s also responsible for the perfect fit . It’s a stretchable material made from Amazon Rainforest rubber.

The SmoothFoam™️ Midsole: Perfect blend of softness and energy rebound, so you can spend a full day walking and feel comfortable and happy in the end.

This combination makes Nuven Super Lightweight, even compared to running shoes. It only weights 186grs or 6.5 oz in the woman version.

Upcycling as much as we can.

As a company we want to change the way people look at “trash” and prove that recycled and upcycled materials are as worthy as new ones.  

Our rubber outsoles are made with discarded party balloons and tires leftover, adding slip resistance and great flexibility.

The upper materials are 100% vegan. 
The lining is 100% bamboo for a silky touch, it also helps with odor control and it’s anti-bacterias.
We choose a super smooth suede made of recycled plastic for the outside layer and added a water repellent coat so you don’t need to worry about rainy days.

To finish off : Our Insole is made of castor oil and it’s from Ortholite™️. Global leading comfort insole brand.

We proudly produce our shoes in Franca, a Key cluster of shoe industry in the State of São Paulo, Brazil.

The city of Franca is Brazil’s second largest footwear production centre. It consists of hundreds of companies with the capacity to produce over 30 million pairs of shoes a year, directly generating about 20,000 jobs.

Our Partner is a family-owned factory incredibly strong on environmental responsibilities and human and social rights, with good working conditions and wages. They invest in state-of-the-art machinery and equipment, using only high-quality materials, supplied mostly within the Brazilian domestic market itself.
