Inspired by “Snow Crash”, “Ready Player One”, and “The Matrix”, CyberEarth is a metaverse concept.

Story

Welcome to CyberEarth, the ultimate metaverse experience built on top of an innovative strategy game and eco-simulation that allows players to earn rewards through their gameplay.

Inspired by the masterpieces “Snow Crash”, “Ready Player One” and “The Matrix”, CyberEarth is a metaverse concept that shall be built on a digital twin of an uninhabited Earth where players can buy virtual land and build virtual spaces. CyberEarth will create a digital twin of the earth that leverages the potential of emerging technologies, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, and potentially, in the long run, hologram technology. By establishing a geolocational connection to the real world, CyberEarth aims to fully unleash the potential of these rapidly evolving technologies. With the ongoing evolution of computation platforms, CyberEarth will allow for the optimal utilization of these cutting-edge technologies.

With CyberEarth, you can purchase virtual land permanently tied to a specific location in the real world. The land will then be stored on the blockchain, ensuring that it cannot be deleted or taken away from you again. In addition, the geolocation feature allows you to visit your land in the real world using either augmented reality or mixed reality.

CyberEarth is a long-term project that starts as a centralized system. This campaign covers only the first milestone to claim virtual land on the CyberEarth website in some limited areas and the first milestone does not include our long-term goals of the virtual replica of the earth or integrating blockchain technology. The goal is to make it decentralized as much as possible, but that’s a process that takes a lot of time and money and that is where Indiegogo can help in this journey. The project will be developed gradually in milestones and we are proud to share our vision here on IndieGoGo.

New technologies like virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality give players a unique experience that traditional video games cannot provide.

CyberEarth is a game and a metaverse platform provider that shall allow also external third-party providers to build their apps on it for a wide variety of different purposes. CyberEarth is a digital copy of raw earth and people will be able to build or rebuild their houses, offices, streets, shops, events, and environments in order to meet or host other people in VR, AR, or MR. This is our long-term goal and it will take many years in order to accomplish it at a full scale. Our plan is to make a tax system where a small percentage of every purchase on CyberEarth is collected for player rewards. The reward wallet will be used to pay players to do community tasks like validating streets, resources, interior and exterior designs of buildings, and to teach the AI algorithm for other AI-driven content on CyberEarth. The CyberEarth metaverse will also allow its Players to earn rewards. We plan to implement a game with resource heists and cybercops (Paid by the reward wallet) that protect the landlords. We want to simulate real-world scenarios and create an amazing strategy game. The CyberEarth metaverse will be developed all around the game and its game engine. It all starts with a game.

CyberEarth is a virtual world that aims to replicate the terrain of the entire Earth, including its infrastructure such as streets, sidewalks, parking spaces, bridges, public parks, passages, railways, railway stations, harbors, airports, and police stations. The purchase of police stations or railway stations may be feasible, however, the possibilities for developing this land are limited. CyberEarth will construct these infrastructure buildings to retain their original purpose. However, it should be noted that other houses and buildings will not be replicated in CyberEarth. The mentioned infrastructure elements may be locked in order to maintain their realistic representation within the virtual world. On virtual land where there is no infrastructure of the mentioned type, players are free to build their own structures. In urban areas, city tiles are available for purchase, which depict the shapes of existing plots of land. The outlined area of a building within the plot of land serves as the foundation for the construction of custom virtual real estate on so-called city tiles, while the remaining land area of the property can be used for landscaping and other purposes. This allows for a more accurate alignment between the virtual world and the real world, resulting in a more immersive experience. In urban areas, the area surrounding city tiles is designated as public terrain. CyberEarth will work with the community to rebuild infrastructure such as streets, sidewalks, parking spaces, bridges, public parks, passages, railways, railway stations, harbors, airports, and police stations, as well as public buildings, in coordination with the city tile owners of the neighborhood and the community service. In virtual areas where land is uninhabited in the real world, players have the opportunity to purchase land in the form of land tiles. In these areas, players have the freedom to build anything they desire, including infrastructure. This allows creative communities to construct extraordinary megacity designs that would not be feasible in the real world, unrestricted by the limitations of reality.

The purpose of implementing these rules is to synchronize virtual and augmented reality with the real world, thus creating an immersive experience for the players. With this synchronization, players can interact with others in AR and VR while staying grounded in reality.

CyberEarth does not assure the implementation of tiles as described and may alter the integration due to technical unforeseen issues with the grid system.

The cost of the tiles is determined by an internal algorithm that takes into account the number of square meters purchased in a specific area and country. The more square meters that have been sold in a region directly from CyberEarth, the higher the price per square meter in that region will be. The asking price per square meter on the marketplace is negotiated between players. It is worth noting that the price per square meter in urban areas may be similar to that of uninhabited land, however, as you are only purchasing the space for the floor space of buildings plus the plot of land that belongs to the building footprint and not the entire surrounding area, the cost of uninhabited areas may be higher as infrastructure needs to be constructed in these areas as well. However, in uninhabited areas, you have the maximum freedom to build whatever you desire.

We also embed some mechanism in our game that gives incentives to build upon virtual land. If virtual land is left unoccupied for an extended period, other players may illegally dump industrial waste on the land. Disposing of industrial waste legally in CyberEarth will be possible, but with a higher cost, similar to the real world. Additionally, CyberEarth may place public buildings on unoccupied land. If the land owner chooses to build on the land again, they must first clean up any waste or demolish any public buildings, which incurs a small community tax as compensation for not actively supporting the community in that area. Additionally, reward-driven law enforcement may intercept illegally dumped industrial waste transports. Potential buyers should consider these factors before purchasing large amounts of virtual land in CyberEarth.

CyberEarth will replicate streets, sidewalks, parking spaces, passages, bridges, public parks, railways, railway stations, airports, harbors, and police stations with the help of satellite imagery, mapping services, and AI and lock them up if CyberEarth fails to secure these infrastructure plots and players buy them despite restrictions, CyberEarth may issue a refund and reclaim the land. The infrastructure will be built by CyberEarth, the community services, and the city tile ‘owners’ together in urban areas. We plan to only make slight modifications to these locked areas possible for the surrounding city tile ‘owners’. We are planning to integrate an eco-simulation based on real-world infrastructure, which may result in these areas being locked entirely or partially. We also plan to use real navigation systems, which may cause updates to the infrastructure over time. As a result, new areas may become locked if there are changes in the real world. If a building in the real world is demolished and new infrastructure is built in its place, the outline tile owner of the demolished building may end up with a locked tile. In this scenario, CyberEarth will compensate for the loss through other benefits or consider a refund if requested. This approach is taken as we use real navigation systems for our eco-simulation, but we strive to avoid such situations wherever possible. We only choose this critical operation as a last resort when it is absolutely not possible to avoid it.

Our plan is that there will be some kind of public service rewarded by the reward wallet that maintains, builds, and checks the infrastructure in a collaborative way together with the tile ‘owners’ of the virtual land. The goal is to replicate the infrastructure of the earth so that real-world simulations will be possible. When purchasing virtual land on CyberEarth, it is important to consider the possibility that construction or land modification may not be possible on all virtual lands within the platform. Some virtual lands may have restrictions similar to those found in the physical world, such as steep mountain slopes or bodies of water, that make building or modifying the land difficult or impossible. Terraforming will be limited in order to manage the large volume of data that must be processed. In the CyberEarth metaverse, the vast majority of water bodies such as lakes, rivers, and oceans, will not be suitable for construction due to regulations by CyberEarth. It might be possible in the future to construct oil or gas rigs on water if the presence of these resources has been confirmed in that location previously.

CyberEarth is our concept. It’s a long-term project that starts as a centralized system. The goal is to make it decentralized as much as possible, but that’s a process that takes a lot of time and money. That is where IndieGoGo can help in this journey. With your fund, you will be credited 2:1 as an in-game currency to take part in the exclusive opening of the virtual land sale on CyberEarth. The initial sale of each virtual land block is based on the C€ value we assign to it. Your advantage is to be able to claim ‘ownership’ of virtual land exclusively in the first opening month of CyberEarth with your fund. In order to take part in the first virtual land sale on CyberEarth in the opening month, you need to back this campaign here on Indiegogo. During the opening month, it will only be possible to use credited in-game currency to purchase virtual land in CyberEarth. It will not be possible to convert the credited in-game currency to cash without first using it to buy virtual land or other items within the game. After the opening month, the virtual land sale on CyberEarth will be opened to the public. CyberEarth uses internal algorithms to determine the prices of virtual land directly bought on the map depending on the number of square meters sold in a specific region. Two algorithms are responsible for calculating the price of a plot. One algorithm calculates the price at a country level, while the other algorithm calculates the price of individual square meter price within a city or region based on the number of square meters sold. Future sales between registered users will be made at prices agreed between those users. CyberEarth will always impose platform fees and a community tax on every transaction conducted on the platform.

Virtual land will generate some in-game assets with utilities like resources or diamonds to boost certain resource production on virtual land that has confirmed resources. As there will be different opt-in profile types, people can also opt-in to some real-world scenario simulation games like a resource heist with cybercops and bad guys for example. For that reason, real-world locations where police stations are will be replicated as well to span a global net of authority for the game, however, these replicated police stations will be public buildings that will be locked down for modifications to a certain degree. Players can check a list of queued crime cases all around the world and attend to different crime scenarios in a play-to-earn manner.

There is only one digital copy of the raw earth, but the plan is to implement different opt-in profile types for gaming, fitness, commerce, business, education, and more. The possibilities are endless. But these experiences might be implemented per API. CyberEarth is a game and a metaverse platform provider that wants to give players the tools to create on their virtual land.

The plan is that each plot can be accessed by teleportation or directly on the map. Therefore, a user can register a CEL (Cyber Earth Locator) like CyberEarth.io/tradecenter.

Furthermore, our goal is to establish a marketplace where local providers of VR interior replication services can offer their services, enabling individuals to replicate their homes, offices, or shops for virtual and augmented reality experiences, allowing them to host and interact with others as if they were physically present.

We will be excited to offer virtual land on CyberEarth! You can buy virtual land in well-known areas such as Times Square, the Eiffel Tower, or Mount Everest with a geolocational connection to the real world. Whatever your preference, there is a piece of virtual land for you. And, because our lands are virtual, you can purchase them without worrying about things like zoning laws or high real estate costs.

CyberEarth will be a world that allows players to experience the world in a completely new way by simulating the planet’s ecosystems. Virtual land will contain different virtual resources like Oil, Gas, Coal, Uranium, Water, Iron, Gold, Sand, Wood, limestone, Gypsum, Copper, Granite, Marble, etc. (subject to change)

depending on their real-world location and the evidence of the abundance of the specific resource type. We want to simulate real-world scenarios on CyberEarth to create an extraordinary strategic game for its players.  Players will need these resources later to build on their virtual land. The virtual resources can be used to let participants build within CyberEarth houses, vehicles, streets, and environments. And as we plan to make the resources NFTs they can be traded in a similar way as resources in the real world. We aim to simplify the process of constructing houses and virtual spaces for all players by providing them with a list of necessary resources and materials, and an updated list of costs for shipping and materials of regional suppliers. Basically, you see the cheapest available shipping/resource ratio in that region and can buy all required resources and materials from other players with 1 click. Materials and resources that are already in the inventory of this virtual space can be used as well. As a supplier of these resources, it is beneficial to have a larger inventory in areas of high demand to decrease shipping costs. Building eco-factories in cities is only possible if a real-life factory exists at the location.  The storage space in urban areas will be in the basement of the buildings and there will be some underground pod cargo system that delivers the freight from nearby pod hubs built upon locked areas like parking places. Some players just want to replicate their houses or want to offer other experiences on their virtual land and not every player wants to participate in the resource and raw material production and trade. There will be many different ways to take part in this amazing game in the future. If you purchase virtual land for the purpose of resource generation, please make sure that there is a good infrastructure connection or that there is a decent community in that area in order to build such an infrastructure. Property owners can utilize Aerobots for the purpose of transporting resources to a nearby infrastructure connection. Aerobots have only a limited range and transportation capacity.

CyberEarth is a virtual world that allows players to build on virtual land plots. These plots can be used for a variety of purposes within the context of the economy simulation game, including resource generation, storage, and industrial fabrication. However, it is important to note that it is not possible to use the same plot for all of these purposes at the same time. To fully participate in the eco simulation and take advantage of all of its features, players will need to have at least three separate plots: one for resource generation, one for storage, and one for industrial fabrication.

The type of use that is permitted on a particular virtual land plot is determined by the real-world location that it corresponds to. Virtual land plots that correspond to real-world urban areas can only be used for storage, as it is not planned by CyberEarth to let users build eco-simulation buildings in these areas. Players can request eco-sim plot verifications in cities only if a factory exists in the corresponding real-world location and if CyberEarth approves it. Only in this case, players can construct eco-simulation buildings also on city tiles, which might be beneficial in terms of logistics (Verification may incur a fee). On land tiles, building industrial factories is always possible also without a special verification process. On the other hand, virtual land plots that correspond to uninhibited real-world areas have more flexibility and can be used for either resource generation, storage, or the building of eco-simulation buildings.

This system is designed to reward players for their time and effort and to give them the incentive to keep playing or to do community service. It also allows players to try out new experiences and explore different realities.

CyberEarth is committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy for its users. To achieve this, we believe that all communication within the CyberEarth system should be end-to-end encrypted at the highest possible security level. This includes all data transmitted between users and the system, as well as all interactions within the system itself. We believe that this level of security is essential to protecting the privacy and freedom of expression of our users, and to ensuring that large corporations as well as normal players feel confident using our services. At CyberEarth, we believe that secure communication and free speech are crucial components of a liberal and open society.

The social media landscape is evolving, and so is how we interact with our favorite platforms. Cyber Earth will also be a social network that brings augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) as well as mixed reality (MR) into the mix, allowing users to experience their online world in a whole new way.

With CyberEarth, you will be able to explore virtual environments with your friends and meet ‘physically’ in VR, AR, or MR. The possibilities are endless. The potential for this platform is huge. We’re excited to see the future of social media with CyberEarth at the forefront.

Our goal is to develop tools that will enable the creation of a Metaverse for corporate, educational, and social purposes, bringing people together to create, play, earn rewards, and share experiences. This platform will foster creativity, collaboration, and connection, and serve as a global hub for tech enthusiasts. We plan to realize CyberEarth with the established Game Engine Unreal Engine 5. We don’t make any experiments. You can check The Matrix Awakens Tech demo of Unreal Engine 5 on YouTube to see what is possible today.

That’s the plan and it will happen with your generosity, time, our hard work, and in our combined effort we will develop the full system.

Your legal rights in any Virtual Land are not ‘possession’ or real ‘ownership’ and are provided by agreement just for the purposes of transacting within the Internet site as a registered individual user on CyberEarth.io. Those legal rights are specifically based on the Terms of Service that relate to utilizing CyberEarth.io and its applications and need you to remain a signed-up customer of CyberEarth.io. We want to transform the virtual land into the blockchain as NFTs so that real ownership can be approximated to the maximum possible extent.

Any transactions on CyberEarth.io that include virtual land, between us as well as any registered user or a registered legal person on CyberEarth.io, might undergo tax obligations. A user is in charge of all of the tax consequences of the usage of CyberEarth.io. We don’t offer any tax calculation or tax payment to the local tax authorities on behalf of our users. It is your sole obligation to pay the tax that might be mandatory for purchases on CyberEarth or any other transaction on CyberEarth and its applications.

The acquisition of virtual items on CyberEarth.io is final and immediate after the settlement is full. CyberEarth.io does not offer reimbursements for the purchase of Online Items for client adjustment. Virtual Items inside CyberEarth.io will just be refunded if there was a technical issue with our settlement gateway.

You have to ensure that your access to CyberEarth.io is not prohibited or restricted by regulations that relate to you in your country. Without accepting CyberEarth’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policies you are not permitted to support this crowd fundraising campaign.

With your fund, you will be credited 2:1 as in-game currency C€ in order to take part in the first opening of the CyberEarth virtual land sale. Be one of the first to buy one of the most desired places within CyberEarth. We decided to open NYC (USA), Seoul (South Korea), Tokyo (Japan), Australia, Canada, Uzbekistan, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, India, Germany, Switzerland, and Qatar in the exclusive opening month. All virtual land purchased during the opening month will be classified as D1 land, the highest land class in the game. All land sold on the map after that will be classified as a lower class.

The first 50 backers of this IndieGoGo campaign will receive an additional 50C€ reward for posting a screenshot of their successful pledge on their Facebook or Twitter, with the CyberEarth logo visible and a link to the IndieGoGo account included. You are welcome to be creative. Also, a link to the Indiegogo campaign and a text CyberEarth on Indiegogo.com needs to be attached to the screenshot. Verification will be done through the Indiegogo sign-up email contact.

The project will be developed in milestones. The first milestone is to create a website where you can claim ‘ownership’ of virtual land. The price will start from 0,10C€ for 1000 square meters of virtual land and can be claimed on CyberEarth with the rewarded in-game currency. In rural areas, the minimum tile size is 2,149.643. (The price and size of a plot are not accurate and subject to change). The funding for this campaign will be credited 2:1 as in-game credit C€. Only the first milestone is part of this campaign.  It is important to note that without this explicit statement, a refund may be requested at any point in the future and this could break the project as we can not give guarantees on our long-term goals. Our small team already began to develop the website and the progress is pretty decent already. That is why the first opening of CyberEarth will happen in a relatively short time after this crowdfunding campaign ends. With proper funding, this project will be developed gradually over a timeframe of 5-10 years but it will be never really completed as new features will be added and existing features will be improved all along the journey. The given roadmap is a rough estimate and the actual time required may be shorter or longer than predicted. While we can’t make any promises about our long-term goals, we’re always striving to do our best and achieve them.

My name is Oscar Schreyer and I am 47 years old. I am from Hamburg, Germany. I studied 20 years ago Electronics and Economical Engineering here in Hamburg. I did not complete these with a certificate.  After I gave up on my studies I completed my Food Technician certificate which took 5 years altogether. I worked for 15 years in the food industry as a shift worker. Besides this entire journey, I always coded as a hobby coder. You can check the Waybackmachine for websites like chat4single.com, and mail4nature.org which I created as a hobby developer next to my job. mail4nature.org was a freemail provider attaching environmental protection reminders to each sent freemail. Users got access to news about health and other health-related topics such as food. In the last 3 years, I worked together with  Awadhesh Yadav, a highly talented coder. Also special thanks to Zain Maher, who designed this campaign. The team is small right now and I reject to make it look bigger as it is. This entire IT journey began 20 years ago and I would enjoy unfolding my vast experience in this amazing project. With the proper funding, I will build a very well thought team of talents and advisors for this amazing project with endless opportunities for all the participants.
