IPS Screen | 1600X Magnification | Capture Photo & Video | Quick Projection
BEAVERLAB is back! We are pleased to introduce our new generation microscope – Darwin M2. It is the world’s first detachable digital microscope with a 24-bit IPS screen and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its quick projection function can support a dual-screen display, and all files are shared wirelessly through a smartphone.
Help coin collectors find rare, valuable coins with special mint marks, different iconic coins, different strike types, or different problem coin features.
Help you rescue your circuit boards. Magnifying the circuit boards (1600x magnification) will enable you to easily identify and repair damaged components and broken PCB traces.
Explore the world of plankton under the microscope, you can observe their beautiful structures, shapes, and colors, and even sense their feelings (you can feel how panicked they are when you put your hand near them).Find the plant pests (eggs and larval worms) before they become visible to the naked eye and raise an army to destroy your garden, even though they may look quite creepy when magnified hundreds of times.Darwin M2 is focused on providing a more comfortable observation experience for all users, even children can easily complete the focus adjustment within 10 seconds, and the IPS screen shows every microscopic detail clearly. This feature can help protect your eyes and neck. So, welcome, lean back in your chair, and enjoy the microscopic world!
Previously most observing activities were limited to the desk. But with the Darwin M2, you can explore the microscopic world anywhere you want. The detachable design always ensures a suitable observation mode for the current occasion. The large-capacity battery significantly also extends your exploration time longer than ever.
Darwin M2 may not be a professional biologist tool, but it is a very interesting and handy device for all ages interested in exploring the microscopic world. The quick projection feature can be used as a bond between parents and kids, allowing them to share interests and knowledge. This may help children develop skills and interests that they may not have discovered, ultimately positively impacting their growth.
IPS panels provide more vivid and true-to-life colors compared to TN and VA panels. With a 24-bit RGB color depth, they can display 16.7 million possible colors, resulting in better color reproduction and wider viewing angles. Additionally, IPS panels exhibit minimal color shifts even when viewed from various angles.
With a 2.0MP CMOS sensor, the Darwin M2 microscope enables you to capture full HD videos and photos in 1920×1080 resolution. These images can be viewed on a computer or laptop in high definition and larger sizes without any loss of image quality, allowing for a more detailed examination and analysis of your specimens. With Multi-segment hybrid zoom, the magnification of Darwin M2 is up to 1600X. After rotating the focusing cylinder to zoom in, you can press the plus (+) button on the back of the screen to increase the magnification continuously.

The Darwin M2 features a detachable microscope tube that can be separated from its stand base, enabling convenient observation in outdoor environments. Whether you’re on hikes, field trips, or engaging in any other outdoor activities, this portable design provides complete freedom. *With its detachable feature, the Darwin M2 seamlessly transitions between a standard desktop microscope and a handy observing tool for outdoor exploration. The BEAVERLAB team has created an eco-friendly feature – RGB optical dyeing that replaces the traditional and tedious process. By rotating the knob, the backlight can be adjusted to display thousands of colors, highlighting the different structures and details of the specimen. Capture photos or videos with one touch. The 2 touch buttons at the front of the screen reduce the risk of shaking and movement, making it easy to record important moments. The one-touch function is particularly useful for scientific research, education, and other fields where time is crucial and every second counts.Darwin M2 offers a wireless picture transmission function that allows quick projection through 2.4GHz WiFi. You can share the real-time image via a smartphone or a large display (devices with Android/iOS systems) with multiple people, sparking exciting discussions and explorations.
Clicking the camera icon on the smartphone screen during projecting can also capture photos and video, then the files will be automatically synchronized to the 32G memory card in Darwin M2.
With the built-in WiFi network and self-equipped app, you can easily download images and videos from Darwin M2 directly to your smartphone or iPad without looking for USB cables everywhere. This convenient feature allows you to share your discoveries directly with other people or upload them to social media channels.
BEAVERLAB’s computer software (suitable for Windows/macOS) offers six image processing modes: Flip Horiz/Flip Vertical/Gray/Binary/Invert/Emboss. These modes can provide various real-time 2D/3D viewing experiences. In particular, the “Emboss” mode accurately portrays the 3D effect of the specimen surface. It is useful for examining specimens with curved or uneven surfaces.
This software offers numerous functional buttons, including ‘crosshair,’ ‘angle,’ ‘concentric circle,’ ‘parallel line,’ ‘add text,’ and more. With these tools, you can survey and map your observation in real-time. Click the “camera” icon can also save photos and videos to your computer. Moreover, if you’re unsure about the function of a button, hover your mouse over it for a full explanation.
The battery capacity of the Darwin M2 tube has been increased to 2500mAh. With a fully charged battery, you can enjoy up to 5 hours of uninterrupted observation, enabling you to focus without any concerns about low power. Furthermore, the stand base of the Darwin M2 is equipped with a 1800mAh battery. Both the tube and base can continue to work while being charged.
The focusing inner rail of the Darwin M2 is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and outstanding corrosion resistance. This unique material ensures a smooth and precise focusing experience unparalleled by other alloys. Darwin M2 is the only digital microscope on the market which uses this alloy as the focusing rail.
Need more light? No problem. Darwin M2 comes with dual adjustable light sources, allowing you to adjust the brightness based on your needs. Even in a dark environment, Darwin M2 can still clearly show every detail of specimens.
Have you ever had an embarrassing experience of breaking specimen clips? Or perhaps you’ve simply chosen to endure the sudden movement of the specimen. With the Darwin M2’s magnetic clips, you can effectively avoid such accidents. These clips will attach to the stage automatically when brought near. And guess what? They can even double as refrigerator magnets!
