A DREAMER WHO WANTS TO SHOOT A MOVIE

My name is Vlad and I am from Armenia. I pursue my dream to shoot movies which can change the world. The art of movie-making is endless and has no boundaries. For all my life I have been involved in different areas to earn my living but my heart and soul has always been looking for a path to the art like Film-making, Music, Painting.

Now I have a story which I’d like to share with You.

This 30 minutes short film is what I have been developing for 2 years. I am the script writer and the director.

The story is very sensitive and quite important. A soldier leaves his military unit without obtaining permission from the commandment. He runs away to get to his child who was hit by cancer. The kid’s life is in danger.

The story is about a Father fighting for his son but feeling quite alone in his struggle. Lack of financial resources, apathy of the society, not a full support by the country authorities make the man hopeless.

Moving to the Essential stage of the filmmaking.

There are a lot of nice people around me who are ready to support this project. I will be investing my own savings into the production process, but unfortunately this is not enough. We will need some additional funds so you YOUR help is needed.

We have a shooting plan which is ready to go. The shooting locations will be in beautiful historical places of the country of Armenia.

Vlad Pogosyan

Writer, Film Director

Born back in 1979. Graduated from Yerevan State Linguistic University with major in English and Russian Languages. In 2017 finished the Film Making course (script writing, directing, producing) at Action Film Lab. Loves movies, music and fine arts

Paruyr Nersisyan

Producer

Born in Stepanakert, Armenia. He has been an actor since his early age. He has always been interested in filmmaking, directing and producing. He studied film directing in Yerevan State Pedagogic University. Paruyr has directed and produced several of his own movies. His recent film “My Melancholic Toys” have participated in some film festivals. Now Paruyr produces the short film “Father”. His passion to filmmaking and smart ideas would be a great asset to the film.

Mihran Stepanyan

Director Of Photography

A cinematographer, visual effect supervisor, filmmaker, digital artist with more than 17 years of experience in film and media industry and seven years of Flame using experience. Mihran is the winner of the Flame Award in 2017.
