Transform any living space into your workout space.
FLiPBENCH is a pro-quality incline bench that can hold up to 600 lbs. It can be positioned flat, inclined, or upright so you can get the same workout at home that you would get at the gym. Use with your favorite dumbbells or resistance bands.
FLiPBENCH is spring loaded to make pulling it down and putting it up a safe and easy task. It takes just 2 seconds to pull it down and you’re ready to work out. When you’re done, just flip it up and it’s completely out of the way.
There’s no disassembling it or finding an awkward space to store it.
No more driving to the gym, dealing with dirty locker rooms, lining up for equipment, or paying for your gym membership.
Easily transform your living space into a workout space.
With incredible color options and high-end materials, this product makes a bold statement in any room, and matches your mood/life.
With a footprint of less than 1 sq ft, you can choose to install your bench in any room you choose.
Go ahead and look. We’ve tried to find an equal on the market, too. That’s why we’re doing it ourselves.
Let’s be honest, getting the motivation to start a workout is hard. Any barrier (like the hassle of pulling workout equipment out from under the bed and setting it up or needing to drive to the gym) is just enough to say, “ehh…I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Out of sight, out of mind. Right?
FLiPBENCH is here to help. Nobel Prize winning behavioral economist Richard Thaler’s Nudge Theory shows us that simple changes to our environment can influence our behavior for the better:
“A nudge makes it more likely that an individual will make a particular choice, or behave in a particular way, by altering the environment so that automatic cognitive processes are triggered to favor the desired outcome.”
In other words, by simply installing FLiPBENCH in a place that is easily accessible, you’re going to work out more and take a huge stride towards getting in better shape. Because FLiPBENCH exists in your living space (and looks great), is super satisfying to flip up and down, and removes all the barriers to starting your workout, you’ll find yourself flipping it down, picking up your weights, and exercising far more often. Science is cool!
How do we know it works? The original prototype of the FLiPBENCH was built as a pet project four years ago (it was meant to be a one-of-a-kind home workout tool). After four years of use and the realization that flipping it down and banging out sets never gets old, we were convinced we needed to bring it to the world.

Founded in 2015, Brazyn Life makes Gear for the Modern Dream Chaser. Our mission is to create the most convenient and effective workout and recovery tools in the world so you can train smarter, live with less pain, and see better results. We have a penchant for products that conveniently fold and shape-shift to save you time and space.
Our first product, The Morph Collapsible Foam Roller, was an immediate crowdfunding success. In 2017, the Morph was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank (Season 9, Episode 6) where we struck a deal with Lori Greiner and guest Shark, Sara Blakely. Since then, we’ve been hard at work creating innovative new fitness and recovery tools. We are proud of our community of adventurers and dream chasers, and you can find our gear in the locker rooms of professional teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB. We also work with and outfit hundreds of Olympic athletes across the globe. As we like to say, Be Brazyn!
FLiPBENCH is all about getting you into your fitness routine easier and quicker. We strive to make products that you can not only get a ton of functionality out of, but also tuck away at a moment’s notice. We are passionate about utility, design, efficiency, and helping you to achieve your goals.
Our team is a combination of professional athletes, engineers and entrepreneurs working in collaboration to create the best fitness products.
Nate Lawrie – Former NFL Tight End
Nate graduated from Yale University in 2004 where he was an All-American Tight End on the football team. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and went on to play 8 years of professional football in the National Football League (Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, and Cincinnati Bengals). During his career, Nate fought through numerous injuries which led him to rethink many of the products he was using to take care of his body – wanting tools that were more convenient to use without compromising functionality.
In 2015, Nate ran his first crowdfunding campaign with the launch of The Morph Collapsible Foam Roller – the first product of Brazyn Life. The Morph has become one of the top selling rollers in the world and is relied on by professional athletes in every major sport, Olympians, and everyday adventurers. In 2017, Nate presented the Morph on ABC’s Shark Tank and got a deal with Lori Greiner and Spanx’s Sara Blakely.
FLiPBENCH represents Brazyn’s first product in its new strength training line and is a design collaboration between Nate and Tyler Susko.
Tom Hopkins – Former Elite Decathlete
Tom was an All-American Sprinter and Olympic-Hopeful Decathlete, graduating from Princeton University (Class of 2014). Throughout his track and field career, he medaled multiple times at the USA National Championships, and set university and Ivy League records in multiple sprinting events.
In 2016 he joined the team at Brazyn, jumping into the role of Chief of Operations. Soon after in 2017, Tom pitched The Morph on Shark Tank with Brazyn CEO Nate Lawrie, where they struck a deal with Lori Greiner and guest Shark Sara Blakely. Out of the office, you’ll find him playing live music with his band called the Left Hand Lions. You might also even spot him running sprints and doing HIIT workouts at the park.
Tyler Susko – PhD
Tyler graduated from MIT with a PhD in mechanical engineering in 2015. His interests are engineering design, fitness and education. He began combining his interests of fitness and engineering in college, when he became a certified personal trainer in preparation for a fitness product he was designing. Prior to designing the FlipBench, Tyler designed products for industry and academia, most notably, the award winning Ingersoll Rand W7150 cordless impact wrench and the MIT Skywalker gait rehabilitation robot.
He’s currently an assistant professor of teaching at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he teaches 9 courses per year in engineering design. In his spare time, he tinkers, consults and designs things as part of his business, Susko Engineering, LLC.
The FLiPBENCH represents the first of many collaborations between Brazyn and Susko Engineering.

Her research and expertise bring important insight into the creation process of Brazyn products with the goal of helping to make products that truly inspire people reach their health, fitness, and lifestyle goals. When she is not contributing to Brazyn’s mission, Smaranda is a professor in the Department of Psychology at Providence College in Rhode Island where she heads up the CUPPS Lab (Culture and Positive Psychology Lab).
