Professional Omurice chef has been working on the concept for years.
“The Western-style restaurant Kichi Kichi”, which is producing a special frying pan for Omurice this time, is a long-established restaurant in 1978 in Kyoto, Japan.
The 65years old owner chef Motokichi Yukimura has over 260,000 registered users on his Youtube channel, and is known as “The Western-style restaurant where you can’t get a reservation” by overseas travelers.
He is said to be an entertainer, and his brilliant fryingpan skills and light-hearted talk are worth watching.
To eat an omelet made by the chef, you need to make a reservation days in advance, and you also need to go to Japan.
But with this frying pan, you can recreate the chef’s Omurice at home.
It also comes with a special turner and rice cup.
To enjoy Kichi Kichi ‘s Omurice at home.
Due to COVID-19, Omurice fans and overseas travelers living in Japan can no longer come to eat Omurice from Kichi Kichi.
In order to make it possible for them to enjoy Omurice at home, we held a crowdfunding campaign in Japan and Taiwan for a special flyingpan for Omurice that we had been developing for a long time.
In total, we received over $210,000 in support!
Do you know what an ‘Omurice’ is?
The word “Omurice” is a Japanese word combining “omelet” and “rice” and is a dish unique to Japan.
The omelet is made by placing a creamy egg before it is fully cooked on top of fried rice with chicken and onions, and is served with tomato, demi-glace, creamy mushroom, or other sauces, and can be topped with cheese.
Following the popular Japanese foods of sushi and ramen, Omurice has the potential to become a global boom.
The most famous omelet in Japan is the Kichi Kichi’s Omurice. It has been highly praised by the American food media “delish“.
Many videos of the “Kichi Kichi” chef making Omurice have been uploaded to video sharing sites, and some of them have been viewed over 10 million times.
Making a beautiful omelet is difficult.
“It was going so well, but when I turned it over, it fell apart…”
It is very difficult to reproduce the taste, texture, and ideal shape of a restaurant in a home frying pan.
However, with this pan, you can easily make the same omelet as in a high class restaurant!
Calculated shapes that are easy to make and beautiful to finish
Large frying pans make it difficult to put together an omelet because the eggs spread out too much, but this pan is designed for one serving, so you can make an omelet for omelet rice with the perfect size.
■Non-stick design
The bottom of the frying pan is made thicker on purpose.
The bottom of the pan is made thicker on purpose, because if it is too thin, it will burn easily.
It is also coated with fluorine, making it non-stick and very easy to wash.
■Sloped bottom surface
The most difficult part is to roll the omelet.
The bottom of the pan is sloped to avoid mistakes in this process. It took us more than a year to determine and develop the 0.8° angle shown in ‘SectionB’.
I have found that the slope makes it easier to roll the omelet.
Furthermore, in pursuit of a beautiful finish and effortless turning over rounder than most pans. The long handle makes moving the eggs very smooth.
Easy Omelet Recipe

3) Stir quickly to heat through evenly.
4) When the eggs are half-boiled, turn the omelet over with a special turner, holding it from the tip of the pan.
5)After shaping the omelet with the turner, place it on top of the rice.
6) Make a slit in the middle of the omelet with a knife.
7)Serve with your favorite sauce and you are done!
Excellent durability and ease of handling
The frying pan is made of aluminum, which has superior heat conductivity compared to stainless steel or iron, and the surface is coated with fluorine.
The frying pan has actually been used more than 2,000 times in the kitchen of “The Western Restaurant Kichi Kichi” without burning.
This is a product that can be used for a long time.
After use, simply wash and dry, so it is easy to clean.

Professional craftsman and a long-established Omurice maker team up.
Arnest Corporation, located in the manufacturing town of Tsubame-Sanjo in Niigata Prefecture, has developed a frying pan specifically for omelet.
It is known as one of Japan’s top metal processing centers for cutlery and cooking utensils, and produces many metal products that are widely used by both professionals and households around the world.
The products are made in Japan with safety and reliability.
This project started when Kichikichi’s owner chef approached Ernest’s Senior Managing Director Suzuki when he was looking for companies to jointly develop frying pans on the restaurant’s website.
After that, he came to Arnest headquarters, and through a series of detailed discussions and incorporating his particular tastes, we were able to complete a frying pan that could reproduce the taste and shape of Kichi Kichi Owner Chef’s wonderful omelet rice.
We hope you will enjoy the professional level omelet rice at home, referring to the fun performance that can be seen on Youtube.
