We’re back with our most ambitious design ever! A further continuation of our recent FMC denim jacket now converted and improved into a down jacket ready to take on the cold seasons!

Inspired by Furries, designed by Werewolves this Full Moon Club down jacket will be a great addition to your Autumn/Winter wardrobe as the winter cons come around!

You spoke, we listened. Our previous Full Moon Club jackets didn’t live up to some of the expectations set and we’ve gone back to the drawing board to fix these issues and locate a new manufacturer that can keep up with our demands. The proposed schedule now includes enough time for personal after care before the cold weather starts to kick in to make sure you’re not caught off guard.

We’ve also ensured that our zippers are from reliable brands known for their performance and durability. For this jacket we’re using SAB® zippers finished in a beautiful polished chrome, ensuring the performance and reliability when you need it most.

To keep you warm our jackets are insulated with White Goose Down, which is ethically sourced in North America. Our factory is compliant with RDS standards, and have been fully audited with a valid certificate for your peace of mind.

The overall construction quality of our products are taken seriously, and we strive for the best we can do. We are now conducting stricter quality control with our jackets and have pushed our proposed production schedule earlier then usual to give us a head start to better serve you. This is making sure your queries are taken care of prior to the temperature dropping and any problems are alleviated in time.

We’re now looking to fund the minimum order amount in a single colour to get us started, which is 500 units due to how complicated this item is. It’s built with the best materials available, and the factory we’re working with supply some of the best outerwear brands on the market.

We have no stretch goals planned to keep overall costs low and give you the best price for your jacket. We hope you’ll consider backing us again, and help us fund this project!

Whilst this Kickstarter runs, we’ll be arranging for another sample to be made with the following revisions below. This to make sure our pre-production sample is approved by all backers in advance and we can serve your further. 

This includes changing the exterior fabric to the cotton-blend which allows us to create our iconic claw rip marking. This will be displayed alongside the existing sample, and we’ll then hold another vote via Twitter if it arrives before the campaign ends or in the journal post for backers of this campaign.

This is alot of money.

We’ve double checked every single cost. This is as serious as we get with the responsibility of making sure we keep you warm in cold conditions, keeping an eye on the attention to materials and construction. It’s a huge overall goal and we honestly don’t make any money at the end, because we just put it towards samples for other ideas or contribute it to the next project, but in return you get one of the best jackets for a fraction of the high street cost.

Plus it’d be cool to see these jackets being worn. :Dc

Despatch date?

Whilst the campaign proceeds and we approach our target, January will be when manufacturing process starts; leaving July/August solely for packaging and distribution to backers. I’m unaware of anything that can potentially cause a huge delay as we keep an organised pipeline from past experience. I’ll keep everyone fully up to date as always primarily on my Twitter and in journal posts via Kickstarter. 

How are you sending the item? Tracking numbers and Covid-19?

We’ll be sending all our items via Royal Mail as we have an existing account with them and perform all our day to day processing through their services. This allows me to keep the process streamlined and efficient without juggling too many different services. Tracking numbers will not be included however we make sure journal posts after the campaign will always keep you informed on your items ETA.

Covid-19 has effected the shipping world and the movement of parcels. We are slowly seeing recovery in our shipping speed, however before purchasing please ensure you check the link below to make sure Royal Mail is shipping to your country. Failure to do so may result in your parcel being delayed indefinitely.

We’re also ensuring all our products are dealt with in the most hygienic way possible. All items from V-Art are pre-packaged directly from the factory, with workers wearing personal protective equipment, and will not come into any contact with anyone until you open the garment bag. One person, me :D, will be packaging all items in one room with a face mask and loads of Purell.

Payments?

Backers will not be charged (if you are please contact Kickstarter immediately) but payments are due a week after the end of the campaign. I’m taking this very seriously, and value every single backer I can get. By backing you understand to budget yourself for the end of the campaign. 

When can I send my size and address?

If the Kickstarter is successfully funded I’ll be sending out a reward survey to all the backers to collect any information in regards to your end shipping address and sizes. Please ensure you do write it in the correct format and use your correct legal name.

The FMC Down Jacket is a regular fit, which is roomy in the shoulders and usually worn over lighter garments. Constructed to be loose and easy to wear for daily usage.

If you’d like it more fitting, we’d recommend a size down. However please double check your measurements, if we can help please contact us!
