Hello, my name is Krista Ford. As the first Black woman to compete in Women’s bobsled and a thirteen-time national and seven-time world champion powerlifter; I have broken barriers throughout my athletic career. I’m now seeking support to share my extraordinary life story. The first step is through a memoir. 

This message and this story are incredibly meaningful to me. Despite facing immense hardship and adversity, I found the strength to excel as an athlete. My story is one of triumph in the face of all challenges, and I want to motivate others to pursue their purpose and dreams against all odds.

Risks & Challenges

As a first-time creative entrepreneur, I expect hurdles like production delays or funding roadblocks. However, as a professional and Olympic athlete, I know how to turn dreams into reality through relentless effort. When I struggled to qualify for the bobsled team, I simply trained harder.

If more funding is needed, I’ll re-launch campaigns or invest myself. I’ve overcome challenges my whole career by confronting them head on.
