Germ-O-Guard was formed to introduce a wide range of products with self-sterilizing properties, perfect for keeping surfaces germ free 24/7 and making them safer to touch.

Unlike the standard protective equipment we have all become so familiar with, our  Germ-O-Guard products are made using the patented VBFree nanotechnology process. This allows the manufacturing of high tech materials coated with a layer of nano-silver, which is well known for its ability to destroy viruses and bacteria on contact. 

We need to raise about $800,000 HKD / $100,000 USD to have a successful launch, and what better rewards to offer than the very protective products that we are introducing to the market. How do we know VBFree Technology Works?

The sterilizing properties of silver have long been known, and nano-silver has been the subject of detailed study over the years and has been used in a variety of applications. 

Each new application of nano-silver presents its own unique challenges, and scientific testing is required to ensure that the new materials produced are reliably effective. VBFree Technology has undergone numerous tests to confirm it maintains its sterilization properties in the way it is used across the entire Germ-O-Guard product range, so our customers can use them with confidence. 
 

Risks & Challenges

We are already far along in our product development process, having gone through several rounds of prototyping and refinement. The materials we use for the products have also been tested and certified effective by an independent laboratory, so we have already passed most of the risks and challenges associated with launching an innovative new line of products, and we are ready to begin production once we secure the funds we need.

The last significant risk that remains is due to the global supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic. Although we have everything lined up there is always the possibility that a sudden flare up of cases could cause delays in production or shipping. We remain in close communication with our factory partners, and are prepared to mitigate any such issue as much as possible.
