GravGrip’s first prototype was hand made over 5 years ago! I have dedicated the last 3 years to developing and prototyping GravGrip’s design in my spare time. What started as a side project in college is now a product I’m ready to share with the world.

GravGrip™ includes a 1 Action Camera and 1 Cell Phone adapter.
Mount your Cell Phone or Action Camera to GravGrip™ with the included adapters. Lock your camera into position by rotating the blue knob.
2 POSITIONS: Mount your camera in the “ROLL” position to keep a stable horizon or in the “TILT” position to easily capture those epic ultra low and high angle shots. Lock into position by rotating the blue knob.
Rotate weight set upwards to decrease gimbal speed or downwards to increase gimbal speed. Fine tune GravGrip™ to your liking. Twist the weights together to lock into position!
GravGrip’s balance correction system is adjusted using hand force. Some camera’s have an offset center of Gravity (hint hint: GoPro), easily level the horizon with a quick change in position. This system will NOT budge while in use!

Why would I purchase GravGrip™ if my camera has amazing internal image stabilization?
We get asked this a lot! And the answer is easy. GravGrip™ is a great tool for videographers to not only increased stabilization in their videos, but to capture those hard to reach angles that would otherwise be impossible. I have a GoPro Hero 8 Black and GravGrip™ in the tilt position is a game changer! Transition with ease from ultra low to up high angles. It’s easy, and everyone will wonder how you did it!

Why doesn’t GravGrip™ automatically come with a pole?
GravGrip™ can be mounted to any GoPro compatible mount and we know a lot of our customers will already have these items. This ensures we can provide you the lowest price possible! Don’t have a pole? You’re in luck, we have a combo deal that includes a GravGrip™ custom designed extension pole or a 5″ hand grip. We strive to provide premium products, and our extension pole is just that.
Is GravGrip™ waterproof?
YES! GravGrip’s design is composed of zero electronics, all components are either stainless steel, aluminum or a durable plastic (glass filled nylon). Please note: GravGrip™ is not functional under water, but feel free to take GravGrip™ out in the rain for some epic shots without a worry! If you get GravGrip™ wet with salt water we do recommend a cleaning with fresh water.
Will GravGrip™ work with plus sized phones?
YES! GravGrip™ has been successfully tested with many plus sized phones (iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 11 Max, Galaxy S20, etc.).
Can GravGrip support added weight? (ex: Phone Case, Phone Lens)
YES! No need to take your case off while using GravGrip™ (unlike many electronic gimbals). We have tested several cheap iPhone 11 lens with success (for weight testing purposes). We do expect cell phones equipped with higher end lens to work without problems, just know there is no guaranteed.
Can GravGrip™ work on a chest or helmet mount?
GravGrip™ can mount to any GoPro® compatible mount, but we do not recommend mounting to your chest or helmet mount. In some situations GravGrip™ will work on these mounts, but GravGrip™ is best paired with a pole. The stabilization between your arm movement and GravGrip™ can produce amazing results.
Can I use GravGrip™ in cold temperatures?
Yes, we have tested GravGrip™ at roughly -5 C for extended periods of time with no issue. At colder temperatures, changes in GravGrip’s hydraulic stabilization system may occur. GravGrip’s hydraulic fluid will stiffen and rotation speed will decrease. You can counter this with adjusting the off set weight, but more testing needs to happen before confirmation. The good thing is you can disengage GravGrip’s hydraulic system by removing the lid. In the roll position you can get a great balance without the use of hydraulics. In this case, temperature will not play a roll in performance! Hydraulics is a must in the “Tilt” position!
NOTE: If GravGrip™ is kept indoors before use, it will take time for temperature to affect its operation. Users will likely notice no change in performance. If stored outside in low temperatures GravGrip™ will see noticeable changes to performance.
Will GravGrip’s weights loosen and fall off?
GravGrip’s 2 counterweights are very secure when tightened against each other. Throughout all GravGrip™ testing we have completed, not once have they loosened! They take a good bit of force to break apart, but are still easily adjusted by hand.
