Grendha is a fantasy 1-4 player miniature wargame with special co-op & Solo mode.

Story

 

Meru was a planet swarmed with dangerous predators. Demonic Dragons ruled Meru over millions of years until one day; a moving celestial object hit Meru. The collision was devastating for Meruan’s. But when the dust settled, emerged a new civilization led by mighty king Arnoru. The origin of Arnoru is one of the most profound mysteries of Meru. Some believed he descended from the heavens, and some believe he was part of the celestial object. 

With his immense knowledge and power, Arnoru channeled his strength, wisdom, and ability to a book called Grendha. A powerful book of secrets that will unlock the demons and dark forces, conquer the dragon army and even worse, make anyone powerful enough to rule the Kingdom.

 

Grendha is a 1-4 Player fantasy Miniature war game happening on the planet Meru with epic arts, 244+ miniatures, Cards, Tokens, and Dice.

In this game, you represent one of the four heroes and will take part in the quest for the pages of Grendha to dictate Planet Meru. The gameplay includes territory conquering, fight & negotiations, resource gathering, collect maps to help you capturing grendha pages, etc. At the starting of the game, you have no territories and have limited resources. Each turn, you must maximize the use of strength to capture territories and grendha pages, and overall, you will have a better strategy to the domain over others. 

The player who will conquer all territory or capture grendha pages will win the game.

 

In Grendha: Search for Lost Triumphs,  you take on the helm of one of the four powerful heroes. Along the way you conquer territories, face attack and defense, gather resources, collect maps to help you to achieve the Grendha pages. Your hero will need to slip through time to discover the lost pages to restore Grendha, The ultimate power!

 

A player will command their hero to move around the board, investigating new territories. When they enter a new zone, they will receive a territory card, and either faces a challenge or receive a boon.  The goal is to conquer and control and claim the lost leaves of Grendha. 

 

Each player needs to manage the strength of their character to move around the board, conquer territories, and face your opponents in battle. At any point, the player’s health is lowered to zero; they must admit defeat and remove from the game. 

After gaining control of territory, you must face a shield or sword encounter. The player then wins asset cards that provide increased stats, resources, or clues. Build a strong strategy by accumulating cards and using them at the right moment. 

Burn your strategy tokens to become allies, share resources, and army. But beware of your allies, because they can turn anytime against you. These warriors are mercenaries who will kill anyone to get to the leaves of the priceless book called Grendha. So no matter what army you are fielding, they will join your ranks. For a price! 

 

We have added additional Solo & Co-op with the core box. Grendha solo/co-op mode offers an immersive adventure gaming experience of 4 heroes who are trying to save planet Meru from its creator, Arnoru. (This is still a work in progress)

The gameplay comes with 36 events using unique event cards, which is playable within 60-90 minutes. In solo/Co-op, the King targets each territory in the individual circumstances, and the four heroes have to save their areas and defeat Arnoru before the game ends. The surprise attack of King decides every turn of the players. This doesn’t affect the present skirmish feature, but introducing additional solo/co-op is providing by adding new decks

Grendha: Origins Expansion is the prequel of Grendha: Search for Lost Triumphs. The Origins is a wondrous story of Arnorus’s fight between vicious predators of Meru and with his confederates Mirgoth, Kondu, and Genu. Grendha: Origins gives a sneak-peek into both Arnorus and Meru’s past. This addon is a standalone game and an entirely co-op/solo gameplay for    1-4 players.

Grendha: the Final battle is a crusade for capturing the celestial city from the God of Chaos, the demonic power which turned Arnoru into a mad king. You will be playing this game with the four heroes from the core box. This expansion is a 1-4 player semi-cooperative adventure game where the heroes are trying to capture the celestial city by destroying the demonic force. It will also enable full co-op as well as solo play experience.

Risks and challenges

This is Doptale Interactive Incorporation’s first game; however, it has been in development for years with a dedicated team of industry professionals who have worked on many other games before. We have specialist engineers and supply chain managers who used to work on large international projects, so we do not foresee any problems arising for production and fulfillment that we do not have the skills in the team to overcome. We have also joined forces with some of the worlds leading authorities on game fulfillment (Eastar & Quartermaster Logistics) to make sure Grendha: Search For Lost Triumphs has a smooth ride to your door.

Be aware that this is not a pre-order but IGG for a product that may see some elements of the game components, artwork, and design change between what is presented here and the finished product as we strive to improve the game to the last continuously.

Our biggest challenge would be any unforeseen events that may delay the project. To that end, we have spent significant time preparing for as many eventualities as possible, but there may always be edge cases that could lead to delays.

Grendha: SFLT is a large and complex project with many interconnected pieces and potential logistical issues involved. In addition to all of the usual challenges associated with a big board game project (miniature tooling, printing, production, international shipping, etc.), there are the additional challenges involved in writing all of the included artbooks and other content not present in many other board games.

We will apply all of the knowledge that we have gained and do our best in ensuring that this is not only a successful project but one that is a joy for our backers to participate in. We have developed a reputation as an honest, forthright, and caring company that is active in our community, and we plan to continue building upon that rapport, keeping our backers involved in every step of the process.

Will problems arise during this process? Of course. But we intend to grow, learn, adapt, and, in the end, deliver a board game that will be a truly compelling experience. Thank you for considering joining this crazy ride with us.

As per the terms stated on IGG, a full refund will be provided if the request is received within 7 days of the close of the campaign. Otherwise, such a refund will be at our exclusive discretion and will be net of handling costs, IGG commissions and credit card processing fees (15%).

If you fail to check out and pay for your order, including shipping costs, before the posted payment deadline, you may be forfeiting your products. Unclaimed games will be released after the closing date to online and retail sales since we lose money on unclaimed games due to storage fees. Refunds and/or cancellation requests will only be considered before we set the print run size for mass manufacturing with our factory in China, which takes place upon the posted payment deadline for the Pledge Manager.
