About ‘Grief’ – A Performance art

Hey all! As most of you know, along with my photography, I also try to explore my creativity by doing performance art shows. I’ve had the opportunity to perform two pieces in Japan and received positive feedback from people. Most people who attended the show said they had never seen a performance art show before and that it was an unexpectedly beautiful experience. 

I have another project that I’d like to share with you all this fall, a show to portray my art and to ignite that artistic spark in people who are able to attend. A show that will make you forget about your past, present and future, a show that will connect you to your own primitive self.

What I Need 

Right now, I’m still working on the details, and I wouldn’t want to say too much without being certain of my creative direction. I’m really looking forward to sharing what I’ve got planned, and I’ll be releasing more information closer to the performance date BUT I’m so excited to perform this show here in Japan this September. 

The exact date and location of the show will be released later on, but right now I want you to hear me out. 

The tickets to the show will cost ¥2500 and will cover the cost of the venue, equipment, props and make-up. If I can make it to ¥200,000 the show will be funded and you can all come and see the performance or stream it online!

So right now, I need your help with covering the costs of the show. And also, if, with your help, we can raise just a little bit extra….you’ll be helping me on my way to achieve something even bigger, something even more important. My big move to study art history and curating to London! I’m extremely excited about this move and funding from this show will help to make this dream into a reality.

What you get

Ticket prices are ¥2500

My art shows are an interactive experience – the audience does not simply sit and watch the performance unfold in front of them, the audience engage and participate. The audience becomes the artist. So you get to experience what it’s like to be an artist for a few hours. But since things are still a little bit difficult these days due the COVID-19 pandemic, I will also stream the show online. So wherever you may be, you can still experience this performance.

Along with that, I’d also like to offer a little bit more to friends out there who are willing to donate a little bit more. And here what they are;

For donations over     

¥5000 you can get a signed copy of one of my photos.

 ¥10,000 a 2 hour shoot with me as your photographer, for a photoshoot of the concept of your liking.

 ¥15,000 an all day photoshoot around Nagoya city with me as either your photographer or a model (for other photographers) and 3 printed copies of your favorite shots.
