When we set out to create Hitch, we talked to lots of people who carry reusable water bottles, and most wouldn’t carry a reusable cup because it was either too much too carry everything, or too easy to forget at home.  

Simply making a tiny water bottle and tiny cup wouldn’t cut it–people wanted a full size water bottle for all day hydration, a reusable cup large enough for a standard coffee drink with a lid that won’t leak, and a way to carry both that was space efficient and easy to hold.  In fact, we wanted it to be so easy, that people could go zero waste.

Single-use paper cups and plastic bottles create a lot of waste. With Hitch, we’ve made the reusable bottle and cup so easy to carry, that you can go zero waste and lighten your load. 

We’re including A FREE Bottle Protector with every Hitch. It’s a flexible weatherproof cap that fits on the top or bottom of your bottle.  Protects the cup lid when it’s on top, and when your cup is out, use it as a cap to protect the bottom of your bottle. 

Hitch is compact and easy to carry. It fits naturally in your hand where the bottle tapers in, much like a carafe. And at 9.5″ tall, it can easily fit in a tote bag, messenger bag, or a backpack. We also designed the Hitch bottle and cup to fit in most cupholders.  

Hitch’s cup is perfect for life on the go. When you’re not using it, your cup is protected from the elements inside the bottle. When you’re ready, the cup is the right size for coffee shop drinks (12oz), it’s vacuum insulated to keep drinks warm, and has a leak proof and easy to drink from slider lid to keep things neat and clean.

If you use a paper cup at the coffee shop daily, it takes on average an entire tree worth of paper to make those cups a year. By using Hitch, you save a trees worth of cups annually. We also plant a tree when you pledge for a Hitch. We do it through our partnership with One Tree Planted, whose reforestation projects plant trees that clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, and create jobs for social impact. 

If you use plastic bottles, much of that plastic isn’t recycled but shipped to the developing world, where it ends up in rivers and waterways that flow into the ocean. By using Hitch, you prevent plastic bottles from reaching the ocean. We also prevent 100 plastic bottles from reaching the ocean with every you pledge for a Hitch through our partnership with Plastic Bank. They create impact in areas with high levels of plastic pollution, by supporting people to collect ocean bound plastic and turn it into a currency.

We set out to create the perfect reusable solution to carry your bottle and cup effortlessly. We knew it needed to be a great bottle, that carried its own cup inside, with the ability to carry enough water and coffee for an on-the-go lifestyle. After lots of concepts, prototypes, user testing, and refinement, we created Hitch.

We are glad to be able to share Hitch with the world, with shipping available to more than 150 countries worldwide. Depending on your country, in some instances you may be responsible for paying duty, taxes or other applicable fees before you can receive your package. These policies are set locally, so please check with the relevant sources where you live for the most accurate information.

As part of our commitment to climate positivity, all shipping for Hitch is carbon neutral (certified by our partners at Climate Neutral.) Wherever possible, we will be working with postal services (as opposed to express shippers) which use existing routes and are the most environmentally friendly way to get a package to your door.

We are working closely with our manufacturing partner to ensure that every single Hitch meets our exacting standards. In the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, we will be more than happy to replace the unit. Please note, we cannot offer returns or refunds for any other reasons.
